is there anything specific i should add to my compost if i plan to plant clones strainght into it, besides like blood and bone meal and other good organic goodness?

Well if you are talking about building up regular compost, I have posted this else where that proper effective composting is in the Carbon to Nitrogen ratio. 25:1, but more nitrogen is better than too little.this takes awhile to break down into humus and balance its pH. I have no experience with clones, but I have read that vercumulite is excellent for clones and seedlings, you may just want to use vercumulite and some peat moss for beginning clones.

thanks for answering Ex. the compost i have is not home made. Its from Lowes and its 100% organic. i will look into buying some vecumulite and peat moss. thanks for the input

I would not personally use peat moss because of the low pH, and I would hold off on blood/bone meal until the next transplant, when the clones are rooted and behaving properly.

You will just want to add a very good amount of a soil lightener such as perlite or even perlite and coco fibre.

One thing I wonder about is whether you might have problems with rot as compost is not necessarily a sterile medium, ya know? But I don't know about this.

ahh thanks for the answer stinky. I think i have enough perilite to last me a year so ill add some to the compost, ill let yall know if any root rot happens.
