Snookers on BBC2, it's the World Championship final.

John Higgins // Mark Selby

My mate Ronnie isnt in it, but he hasnt been since he won it a couple of years back.

Higgins is winning by about 2 or 3 frames, great play on the table by both. I reckon Selby might be able to come back and win this thing. I'd normally be gunning for Higgins but he's won it before, and Selby is such a cool cat, and he's come all the way through the qualifiing roundes.

Ahhh, i love snooker - i could play all day long [and have a few times at my snooker club]

Anyway, im going to roll another up and watch this - should be a fucking nice end to alot of very good play.

It really picked up after they had the tables re-clothed - well, about 2 days after.

I think the record is 68 centuries - Selby might have broken that by now, i'm not too sure.

Good night.

It's the same idea as pool, but pool is on a small table with silly big pocket. Snooker is on a 12 foot by 6 foot table, with much smaller pockets and it's a very skilled game. But yeah, i guess it's an English thing.

What was the result?

I don't mind a game of snooker. I used to play billiards as a youngster, now that is a skilled game.

Well, Higgins won. I supose his experience played a big part - but Selby did amazingly well to win 6 frames in a row. At least next year he wont have to bother with the qualifying. And even though Steve Davis got no where near he's still in the top 16.

Anyway, it was a very good game last night. Shame i've gotta wait so long to see more, but i'll be playing myself before then.
