Smoking in My Room

Hello everybody! I need a little bit of help. When I smoke in my room, I usualy exhale into a blankit or pillow or something to reduce the smell and smoke, so my parents don't know that I'm smoking. Well, that idea worked for a while, but now after I get done smoking, and my sister and her husband come over they can smell pot. So, I was wondering if anybody had any better ideas to help cut back on smoke and smell. Thanks!

P.S. Please don't reply saying stuff like, "Dude, your stupid to be smoking in your room in the first place, go smoke outside.", because I know that's what you wanna say, and it kinda pisses me off. And, I'm saying this about everyone, but some of you can be real dicks. And those of you who aren't dicks say dicky stuff when one of the dicks says something dicky. I don't mean to be a dick about it, but please be nice. And, on another note, I usualy[sp?] don't say dick this much. Dick.

I have never needed to hide the smell but I heard this works.

Get a small box and cut a hole on each end. Rubber band some drier sheets one one end. Fill up the box with more drier sheets. Then put some on the other end. Now blow smoke though it and it will smell huggably freash.

If you have a roof outside your window then you can open then shut your window and sit out there.

Smoke in the shower. Or you may have some sort of vent somewhere in your house, for example where my furnace is there is an exhaust pipe that leads to the chimney...all i have to do is hold the flap up with a pen and exhale near the hole so all smoke and smell go up and out the chimney.

It's really fuckin hard to stop the pody smell of weeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. IF you are the one smoking, you can't smell it, but anybody that come around will almost smell it for sure

Everytime I try to smoke out my window it seems a big gust of wind comes along and blows it back in and also spreading it out my door throughout the house... lol. It seems to work to me if i clam in my closet for a few minutes then open the door and shut it real fast, and block off the slits of the door.

I try to smoke outside, but when 11*F is warm, I tend to venture outside less (though still quite frequently)....


Anyways, easiest and most effective thing to do when smoking in your room gurrilla style is to open the window and blow your hits out it ;)

turn on the shower, get some steam, turn on the fan, smoke up, get stoned, turn off shower, open window, spray deoderant, leave.
How do you smoke? You should get a one-hitter pipe do one hit untill theres no smoke coming off the bowl and exhale through the dryer/sheet/tube thingy... why cant you open the window?

Yes, if you cant open the window, take a toliet paper tube and pack it with dryer sheets (or at least pack it tight as hell with TP). Exhale through there... But sure to snuff the bowl out before your done inhaling though. Used to do that when I couldn't open my window (window a/c for the summer) works like a charm... Snuffin the bowl is required though, and an air freshener is a really good idea...

breathing into a towl/pillow works for the exhale smoke, but the biggest problem is the smoke that comes off the end of of the joint.

yea dude blaze in ur shower. not actually in the shower!!!!!!! jus lock da door bring in some spray, blaze up if u have a window open it. taking the shower is optional but i wud do it to get da smell away anyway plus it wud be suspicious if u were wet wen u came out.

i live with my parents and i had the same problem... i would blaze in my room and my sister would run in my room and say, "Pot smoke is coming through the vents!!". i have my own bathroom connected to only my room, so i blaze in my bathroom. i put a towel under the bathroom door and on my bedroom door that goes into the hallway. i blow all the smoke into a spoof that i made out of a paper-towel roll and fabric softeners. spray and then scented candles (if needed, but i usually don't have to).

also, i run the bathtub after im done smoking so that if anyone knocks on my door, theyll think im in the shower and that leaves time for the room to air out.

yea, i smoke in the shower. well, the bath, actually. i set it all up fisrt. i tell my parents im gonna take a bath and as the tub is filling up i toke it up., with the vent/fan thingy on. then i light a few candles, spray some air freshenor, turn the lights out and just chill really really high for a while. when i feel like it, i turn the shower on, take a shower to get the smell out, and call it a night. ive done that a few times, and its worked, so far, but i always get all freeked out that they will smell it, but they havent so far. or i just go out side. lol just kiddin.

ALRIGHT DUDE, i wasnt gonna respond to this one, but maybe i can suggest something that will help.... try to buy a smokeless ashtray or an air purifier. hold your hits in longer so you blow out very little smoke, and limit how much smoke goes into the air.....for example: when you light a bowl, try to inhale all the smoke, remove fire in time to be able to inhale all the smoke, and then take a nickel or some other flat object and put it on top of the bowl, so no more smoke escapes...this will actually help you conserve your weed too. you can also just take some quick hits in your closet with the door closed, and then come out of the closet(pardon the pun) and close the door quickly. candles help too. good luck and happy smokin' :D :D :D

Maybe it's just me, but we're getting a lot of snowfall as we speak, and I love going out to my backyard and smoking a J. Of course, i get naturally warm when i hit the !, so i don't really mind.

get a small snotty, and like light the bowl and finish it in one hit. the peny thing works to to cover the bowl.

use a spoof (tube filled with laundry sheets)

then spray air freshner and light a cnadle or insense

works like a charm

Like I've said many times, the spoof/doob tube thing doesn't work. You're still letting out lots of smoke. The smoke will smell a little like snuggle, but a lot like weed. Smoke is smoke, you can't mask the smell, especially when it's weed. You need to work on containing the smoke.

I live in a tiny house surrounded by my family, in a tiny room, and have to be extremely stealthy. My surefire method is to smoke inside my closet. I only use a pipe or a bong, so that I can cover the bowl as soon as I take my hit. Then I exhale into a pillowcase. I mean stick your head in there and exhale deep into it. That contains the smoke pretty well. Then just toss the pillowcase into the closet, and close the closet door. This totally works for me. Hardly any weed smell leaks out into the room.

If you wanna be even more safe, put some towels under the closet door, as well as your room door. If you need to get rid of the weed smell right away, the best thing is definitely food. Perfume and other stuff is kinda suspicious, and you can usually still smell the weed under all that perfume. For some reason, food (especially the strong smelling foods) just totally and masks all weed odors immediately.

I was having the exact same problem with blowing smoke ut the window; the smoke would always blow back in by some gust of wind. now that it's winter i the US, i've been smokng in my room more often. whtworks for me is to find a small fan, bout a foot wide, turn it on high(no pun intended) and stick it on your window sill with the window open(try not to let it fall out) then i take 2 large books and cover the remaining open half of the window which makes it so all the air is going outside. be sre to keep the bowl or j close to the fan so the smoke commin from the weed goes out also. thats all ive been doin and has been very effective wt the smell. Also, a window with a screen worksbetter in preventing anyhing from falling out. hope it wk out. give ita try sm time when u dnt have to worry so u get the system dwn.

Hey I just thought of something (maybe stupid). As an alternative to my "exhale into a pillowcase" technique, maybe you could just put the entire pillowcase over your head the whole time you're smoking. This way, it contains the smoke coming from your bowl, and you can just exhale without having to pick up the pillowcase and exhale into it. Plus it's like a mini hotbox. I dunno, it might look really stupid, but I'll try it next time.

Not only does it get rid of the smoke well, it makes it smell like dryer sheets. ;) You need enough sheets, though. I think mine has like 30 or 40. I believe Mello suggested taping a wet sock to the bottom, somewhere else in the forum. Haven't tried it yet though.

Well, maybe I didn't put enough dryer sheets in the thing (although I did use most of the whole box), but the smoke still basically smelled like weed. On the surface it smelled like dryer sheets, but there was a strong aftersmell of weed.

And the reason why a pillowcase works is bc it totally contains the smoke. If there's no smoke, then there's no smell.

blow the smoke into a wet towel, use a scented candle (williams sonoma has the best) and get an air purifier.
incense is a dead give-away that your smoking bomb.
