My Grow (Newbie)

Hi all have posted some stuff but in the wrong place I think ,And now I would like to post my grow proper shall we say.

Okay complete newbie chose NFT and bought as a budget the full system 250 light and NFT system for four plants.
Have a friend who donated WW clone from his mother (Hes a grower and very helpfull for info).
This is first week in system got some usefull info from members on this site Mattmao ty.
Adjusted ph to 5.8 ,3 ppm nutes on my wand,lights on 18h .
Been checking ph daily no probs stayed at 5.8 3rd week increased nutes to 10ppm all looking good.Been removing some big fan leaves and placed some yo yo clips on to spread it a little, also have taken 8 or so cuttings my intention being to have four clones in system to fill it and remove mother to a pot ,[ATTACH][ATTACH][attachment=o134679], Had lights on 24/7 for four days and upped nutes to 14 , I then noticed some (what I consider to be nute burn) on lower plant leaves so did half tank change of ph 5.8 water and nutes down to 10, I looked at the pics of plants similar on cannFAQs and made this assumption could it be something else?
I think I should use clonex for my cuttings because my mate says its better than the stuff I used, will send pics of them shortly, also have a little plant I brought on from seed its either skunk or shiva shanti

Its White widow came as a clone and just cared for it daily making sure ph was 5.8 and plenty light and nutes

Hi thinx....nice plant but if I may offer one slight suggestion. It may be your lighting but the leaves on that mommy look a little dark.....as if it is gettting too much nitrogen. You may want to back off on your nutes a little bit. I'm afraid I don't really understand your ppm wand...3? Do you perhaps mean 300? or you measure things differently than I do. Your ph is right on target and your clone looks good. :thumbsup:

Thanks weedhound the wand has lights and readings at the side of them, I had been feeding it 10 cf=500ppm=1.0EC but figured it was showing signs of nute burn so lowered the feed to5=250 ppm to see if it stopped the burn and it looks happy so far,:) my cuttings of this seem to be recovering somewhat after me abusing them will get pics shortly

Everyone here seems to concentrate on smoking bud but I been pruning the fan leaves and smoking them and they are great, am I just a scum bag smoking the throw away or what ? I figure I could just keep this beauty in veg and smoke for free for ever
, but I have taken some cuttings and am trying to bring them along but I made a silly mistake and put them in front of a window and they got too much sun. Took some more and they are about 5 or 6 days on and will have to see, havent got the clonex yet but when i have some money will get some definitly maybe even root riot cubes any one know anything about them??
Any how keeping the ph as close to 5.8 as poss still on lowish nutes as when I upped it to 14ppm it showed signs of nute burn the way I figure is because my system only has one plant in it it is getting all the nutes it wants so unless it is going to start looking sad I will prob keep it the same.Been looking for 600 light as I figure if I had a full tank this light 250 aint up to it, my plan is to get a full system as soon as anyway.Come on the clones.:stoned:

if you can smoke non mature fan leaves and be happy go for it...I'll be letting my plant finish before removing anything to try and smoke. the psychoactive chemicals are still yet to be active and you're likely getting high just because you would like to think you are. the placebo effect. it's not gonna be worth smoking at least until the last couple weeks before harvest, anytime before then it's just a wimpy buzz..

p.s. I wouldn't smoke anything that doesn't have trichomes on it...everything I've learned about cannabis...one thing is that the trichomes are what contain the oil/resin that fucks you up, not the leaves or flowers. if there aren't any trichomes I don't see any point in smoking it at all.

chop them all off before harvest time, see what you end up with...keep in mind that cutting those leaves off also causes stress and can possibly influence the development of hermie flowers. :thumbsup:
