I am on now with my fourth grow and in the past have used a soil and perlite mix but now i want to cut out the soil altogether. i was thinking of using a vermicuticle and perlite mix.can any give me sum advice on soilless mixes.thankyou

im new to soilless grows my self ive been getting reading some of stinkys stuff on coco as im keeping my mums in coco i would really recomend coco its so simple . sorry i dont know much about 50/50 im just new to cloning with it but if you are planning on doing a full grow in it could you do a log as i am real intrested in this subject and anytips i can gather on soiless gardening.thanks the postman.

Right now we use sphagnum moss, vermiculite, and perlite, and have very very good results.

Coco is safer than any peat moss mix because the pH is neutral and stable. It's also cheap and easy to deal with, and when you are done with it, you can toss it outside in the yard, unlike perlite, which has to be put in the rubbish or you can TOTALLY see it... my vegetable patch is loaded with perlite from past grows and I'm kind of regretting it... too obvious, ya know?
I would not use only perlite and vermiculite unless you are setting up your grow really as a hydro grow.
I am about to start messing around with a combination of coco, compost, and perlite. Keep y'alls posted on that one.

I've got 8 NL clones waiting to get into coco in 2 weeks. My first attempt at coco but I saw it a friends house a few days ago and it looks so clean.
