I've taken the I-10 from New Orleans to California and back twice. I've also driven to the Colorado Rockies twice. I love road trips, I love the American West (and Widespread Panic).

Anyway, I've been watching this stuff on HD TV about Yellowstone(r) and Yosemite and I get all goose bumpy. I'm sick of being in this topographically boring region. I love mountains.

I wonder what people say is the most beautiful part of the Americas. Go ahead with South and Central if you must.

Im not really in to nature. So I like big cities. However I live in the woods in Pennsylvania. But i'd say the east coast is the best.

I live in SE Virginia where we have 4 or 5 different kinds of beaches, big metropolis cities, the biggest swamp in the world, the Appalacian mountains, and complete middle of nowhere wilderness and some desert land all 20 minutes from each other. If only the people here were cooler.

Question for americans:

Do you have to be 21 everywhere to buy alcohol? Can I take alcohol across the border from Canada to the US being 19?

Yeah, I definitely want to hit up Yosemite. They keep showing it on HD TV and it almost makes me cry beer.

I'm from western Mass, and I think it's one of the most beautiful areas in the USA. The pioneer valley, especially in autumn, is breathtaking.

'frade not. The change in air pressure will cause the alcohol to explode. Also, it just ain't legal.

its awesome that california has all the best features of nature, mountains, beaches, valleys and desserts. its cool living in the bay area, being no more than about seven or eight hours from any of that.:)

My sister lives in Leesville, and her WHOLE front yard was covered with grass.. It looks like a normal yard, but if you step off the platform to the door, you sink balls deep in MUCK! Its straight up MUD underneath the grass :D

Been on some month-long backpacking trips there, pretty amazing place once you get over 10k.
