Who watches INTERVENTION on A&E

Good show..who here watches this shit? I was smoking a joint while watching it and for some reason, must've been the paranoia, but the weed had me looking inside myself thinking that I really should quit for some reason .. and be drug free. who else watches this show?

the one that was just on, the mom was like i dont want these drug dealers knowing where i live. he son brought home two black dudes and they take over the kitchen and light up a blunt.

so many funny stories...to me at least.

kinda wierd they tell the addicts there doing a documentary on addiction when really its all about them getting clean...lmao

i also like the first 48 on that channel. watching them solve real life murders is sweet.

I normally watch Family Jewels while I'm smokin outta my bong..I don't pay too much attention until like the last 5mins when I'm really baked..I love the history channel with a passion... and CSPAN believe it or not...sometimes they have the videos from the journalists embedded with military forces in Iraq...Never anything gory or anything like that..just what they do an daily basis..I have mad respect for the armed forces

lol watching intervention makes me proud to be a pothead. Everytime i watch it i always watch for someone hooked on weed but guess what? it never comes. Thats because even the government can't pay that show enough money to show some bullshit story about a "marijuana addict". I jus spark a J lay back and be thakfull that im not one of those sorry motherfuckers that were retarded enough to do those hardcore manmade drugs. Lol even alchohol addictions were shown but never weed. good old weed you do nothin to noone and thats why i love you. I always have a laugh when i show dipicts a "marijuana addict looking for help". Its jus so funny. On dr.Phil the other day(yes i watch dr.phil wit my mom hes the shit lol) he was trying to get a pothead to go get help with his addiction and at the end of the show dr.phil was like " and bob ill try to get you help for your addiction" bob jus smiled and nodded. We all know he is gettin help lol tricked ya. anyway ya intervention is asume but i get woosy when i see the people shooting drugs wit needles.

Yeah, I haven't heard or seen one show on there involving a "weed addict."

I don't watch it much though, but i have seen it, baked out of my mind. :D It doesn't make me look insode myself and think I should be clean...cannabis is my anti-drug. When I see drunks on there, I think, "that used to be me...how pathetic." That's what the show is, a display of pathetic beings too afraid to face reality.

They'll come clean when they are ready, but sometimes getting arrested or OD'ing is an intervention in itself, and those, are more successful than a 7% rehab rate.

Yes, very good show. And know the show intervention does not consider weed to be an addiction. They never have had nor do I doubt they will ever have a weed addict. Several people who were on the show continued smoking weed after they were clean from their addictions.

i love the show. addicts are pathetic. i respect the tragedy, but laugh my ass off when i watch it. addiction is the fault of the addict, in no way whatsoever the fault of the drug unless someone tied them down and stuck them with it, and they can quit any time if they decide to think about people other than themselves. god i laugh my ass off when i watch that shit i love it. one time this basehead was just in the back of a van smoking a foily and going "this is my last tray man i swear" then fifteen minutes later he is doing more. ahahaha good shit

addiction is the fault of the addict, in no way whatsoever the fault of the drug unless someone tied them down and stuck them with it, and they can quit any time if they decide to think about people other than themselves.
An addict may be responsible for taking the drug in the first place, but there's no way some of those folks who are tweakers or mainline (poppy-based) drug addicts can quit anytime. You need to do some more reading about addiction to those hard core drugs because you have no idea what you're talking about, frankly. Those are really profound addictions, and even with help they often can't quit.

I find that show so sad to watch but still very compelling. I expect it helps a lot of people. It's probably brought a lot of new business to rehab facilities around the country, too!

well to tell you all the truth its not a bad show, but i dont like it really. at all. if you think about it all theyre doing is playing on americas sympathy and that taboo that goes around with addiction, and when i watch it high all it does is piss me off at the little emotional guitar solos or other little bits of thought-steering inserts. and the fact that the main purpose of it isnt to show you what to steer clear of, its purpose is raking in the green for the people who produce it. its too upsetting, dramatic and played-out for me to enjoy. although its not just that show, tv is just dumb...

I watched a show program called Still Life with Animated Dogs on PBS when I was tripping once. It really was some of the most mind-bending stuff ever. I also like NOVA.

Yeah thats a good show, I watch it when I can find it. The alcohol addiction adn the heroin ones really make me shake my head. What a waste of life.
