I am in the 6th week and I am at a loss in this grow cycle. At the moment I have a 6 plant eco grower unit with a sylvania 600 watt grow hps bulb I have the homeboxXL and a digital ballast. About 3 days ago I noticed yellowing starting to occur. But before the yellowing had begun the plants were in great health. So far I have done everything in my knowledge to fix the problem. I had talked with various people and they had said overewatering but isn't that impossible with the system I am using? Also I even changed the water thinking maybe the water had to many impurities so I used 13 gallons of spring water then readded my nutrients. I am using general hydropincs Micro grow and flora and bloom. After I had changed the water I used a half a teaspoon per gallon to reintroduce the nutrients I need help and fast before my crop is lost. Please if someone can help respond.....

Hi mate
You say 6 weeks in,is this flower or veg?
Yellowing you say,did this happen after a feed or gradually?
Is it old leafs at the bottom dying off....possibly?
Or maybe they need a nitrogen boost?
Got a picture?

Do you have any air supply coming in and going out? They look very dry to me bud.
How much grow nutes are they getting and how often?

As you can all see the plants are all drooping except for one and the rest are starting to spot and yellow I know this condition can kill plants extremely quickly. I have turned off the 600 watt hps bulb that I use for there light in there and am just giving them general hydroponics micro and veg nutrients. I replaced the water with 13 gallons of spring water and a half a tsp of both kinds of nutrients. I know about nutrient lock out and such but how do I revive them they are all drooping but one and yellowing extreme care and help is needed.

this is my first grow I do not have a timer on this system I have a timer on the lights. I am replaccing the water and nurtients every week and a half. I am not to knowledged with general hydroponics nutrients so I used a half a table spoon of the micro and veg to every gallon of water. I have not used the bloom nutrients as I am not in that phase yet. I know that the air circulation is not the greatest. What should I do?

Mate you need to get fresh air in there your plants are suffocating they need fresh air to breath like you and me do,and the heat from your 6oo will need to be extracted from the top of you grow space being replaced with fresh air at the bottom,an oscalating fan will only move hot air around.

this grow is in an attic I do not have a fan in the window would a window fan or air conditioner be the best for this instance. I have a osscilating fan inside the grow tent but as for the air that is inside the room the air is really not being circulated that great. But as for the yellowing is that a nutrient or air problem I cannot tell as this is my first grow? Also if a fan or ac is needed please tell me I will go out now to get one.

If you have a window in the attic get yourself a inline fan so it sucks freshair into your grow room, this fresh air will help with your plants yellowing problem youll also need to extract with another fan,you can put your lights on a timer if you want, personally i do it manually, just make sure you got a rely contactor for your 600 before plugging a timer in,try read as much as you can,get your enviroment sorted first and take it from there, good luck.

I went to the local hardware store and picked up a inline fan which does 500 cfm. I have a small duct which runs from my window to a exhaust tube which runs to the top of the grow room. I hope that the exchange of the air will help with the yellowing. I will keep everyone posted in the next couple days with pics and such to see if they perk back up and start to shoot again. Thank you for the help Baldy!!!

No real answer so I'll just post: Most likely your ph is off or your ppms are either too high or too low or both. I'd start right there.

In addition to weedhound sounds to me like your not giving your plants enough food. Up the nutes man!
