I am going to start my first hydro grow this summer and was looking for some tips? Are there any really good products out there that are easily concealed? I have seen the PC Planter and a few others but I was in need of a few opinions????

With out knowing how much room you have it's hard. Know this, If you go cheap you grow cheap. The big rule is , More light more buds. How much do you want every month or two ? Takes two months to flowwer but you can stagger and harvest each month. How much do you have to spend ? The unit can be made easy, DWC bubbler, DRIP, NFT, EBB and FLOW. The real money goes to lights, meters, nutrients, ventilation and oder control. Maybe A/C and dehumidifier also. I'm old but still have to do my home work to keep up with things and ways that are good. Good luck hydro is the bomb. Keep asking questions.

I don't really have a set goal for each month but I would like to get at least 3-4 ounces a month. I was wondering would this Manufacturing hydroponic grow boxes..not for illegal use: dormoponic (http://www.hydroponichomes.com/index.php?id=38)
be any good to invest in. I am not worried so much about the price. I want an all in one system that can be easily hidden. Please continue with the helpful advice!!

That's looks good but you could maybe get 1 to 2 OZ's every 2 months if you have all females. It's a matter of math and lights. The bloomery at the same place could give you 3 to 4 every month or 2. If you stagger the bloom you could get that every month. That's big bucks though. Sorry a 400 HPS light can give you 3 to 4 each 2 months. I was getting about 12 OZ's every month with 6 plants staggered, really 12 plants but a place to veg and a place to clone and a place to keep female mothers. There are many stealth units out there keep looking.

I been reading around a little, but haven't really came to any solid conclusion. Would it be possible to just replace the bulb in that system with a 400 HPS?

would something more like this be more worth my time? Hydroponic cabinets and hydroponic systems from Supercloset (http://www.supercloset.com/proddetail.asp?prod=supercloset004)

Hmm- If you're going to spend that kinda cash, I'd go for the BloomBox- BCNorthernLights. People who have those really like them.

Looking at that rig, you're paying about $1200 US for the cabinet. I'll be glad to go to BJs' spend $100 on one, and re-sell it to you for $1100- but you'll have to pay for shipping :)

HAHA, I know its pricey but stealth is key and I just don't know if I could build my own for cheaper and actually get it to work. I have read several threads about building my own but is it really that easy to make it all stealthy.

I did a little research on the bloombox-http://www.bcnorthernlights.com/bloombox.html
and I think I like it! I have a question tho? Can y'all suggest any way to make this more "stealth"?

Keep it COLD!! water temps should stay below 70, 68 being optimal. Do this and hold your ph steady 5.5-5.8 and you will eliminate A lOT of problems. Peace

that was a general tip about water temp and not about the bloombox if anyone was confused

Haha, thanks for the tip. I have been reading around for a couple weeks and finally decided on this
Refrigerator Grow Box. Beginner Hydroponic Growing Chamber Cultivates Plants in a Fridge. (http://homegrown-hydroponics.com/regrboaircoh.html)
I had them put a 9 plant system instead of the 11 and pretty much left everything else the way it was.
Any thoughts or comments on this system?

Very impressive dav zap. Love the lights in the last pic. Do y'all think the 400 watt will be enough for me to do 9 plants or should i consider getting more?
