my first guess would be they dried out and I believe if they don't have it nice and moist they'd have a hard time getting that root started and pushed through that hard dry dirt...

Maybe try some jiffy pellets or something? Those retain moisture well and are great for starting seedlings..

The time it takes to dry depends on humidity and airflow. If you put a fan on the buds they could dry overnight. It is best just to hang them up and give them about 3-5 days before putting them in jars. And after you put it in the jars it'll be ready to smoke in about 3 weeks. A 2 month cure is the best if you have good patience.

we used some carton box's suspended in a tree and cover with plastic foil, and under it was free at all, i mean the part of box that it was UNDER we cut it down so it make a big hole, they did dry there but no so good coz they never got really dried in there, i believe coz of each morning humitity, they was lil weet so we moved them to a house room and dry in carton box with some holes. no fans etc

this time we will do it better if everything goes WELL.

I've been watching AnimalPlanet channel and i seen some cool killer ants which only eat meat not plants, they are in Africa, i would love to have some of these to eat all my stupid insects :jointsmile:

i used same soil as i used on past year, is best soil i could find in our shops, oh i also cover it with normal soil from the our grow spot so it dont attract attention from chopper, tried to make it be same color over it .

well just till they get stable so rains wont put them on ground or get them out of the soil, it happened last year to some babys so i've learn something :P

we had 6 tall sativa's too, if i remember good i think they was over 4m tall but shame they freeze when buds was developing:( , this year we grow only indica and indica/sativa mix.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of these fucking insects without affecting the babys please?

they are small, but on the picture it looks bigger coz i made it like that so u can see it good, i also know they dont walk, they JUMP, and other one is walking and eat plants too but not so much like that black and little one.

I would look for that safer brand insect killing soap stuff... Its worked for everything I've used it on. Check them a couple times a day and kill any bugs you see on them or around them... I would hate to see these gay little bugs ruin your crop.

I bought normal insect repelent from a gardening shop, personally i dont think they can affect the plant too much if used while no buds are there.

I mean those plants have a lot of growing to do, so they will still be washed by many rainy days and grow many many other leafs before they grow buds...

But i am definatley not an expert , and you should definatley try the soap and whatever lemonade stuff you got mixed up first :thumbsup:

Germinating seeds is hard because you have to be ridiculously sensitive or it will stress the baby plant. I think its best just to start seeds in peat pellets and keep it at 80*F and moist until it sprouts. You'll get more females that way too supposedly because its more stress free.

well if u really want a grow spot like our, u should get an AXE go in a small forest, get gloves and good clothes on you, get in middle of the forest and start cutting tree's, then start digging, cut all tree's roots etc...buy soil change it there and plant ur babys....

we did that, it was pain for 2 days, had lots of scar's on hands, but it paid off

Clear cups can be good and bad, the good being you can tell very easily when transplant is needed. The bad being that the light reaching the roots could simply cause you root rot easily. But signs of this in a clear cup would be most obvious. By the way stick to tieng down the colas and getting them to branch out alot, The bigger the cola the bigger the yield.

yea, made 2 cola's to almost all plants allready , one of them i fucked up today, it became a MALE, prolly from stress...dunno

yeah i hope for big yield but we kind fucked up a lilttle bit this year...planting directly to outdoor many died and some stopped growing when they was little so we had to grow inside a little bit and replace...lost alot of time but i hope for goood yield

now atlest try some poweder milk spinkle it all over that garden one box , see the thing is there to small for fish emoltion ect , only thing im usein is natural pestacides cause you can get these worms that eat your buds from the inside out. i use aim my aim = sacto420

and also i use a tint bit of scultz plant food a very small amout my garden is at a small slant so i put 20 drops in a 5 gallon bucket an let the water run slowly in the buckets it over flows and when my garden is sorta flooded i turn it off and wait a few days, i noticed if i leave shit alone its better off , so you wont see me in my yard playin with em like other ppl that i know i let nature take its corse sorta lol besides a snack milk and a lil plant food soon ill use bone meal and fish emlotion, and miricle grow but yours a still little so i say milk and then watch em go, look at my pics an dates youll see a 7 day period where they grew a foot or more ;]

I seen your plants, they look great and growed really fast...Well in my country i cant find organic nutrients in fucking shit shops, i've read u know ppl from OG....i would appreciate if u can recommand some other good nutrients too for veg. and for buds too, im talking about nutrients that anyone can make/get without shops. yes of course but i try to dont think about that so much, i also think good on what i do, but always risk exist, i hate the moment when someone see u entering to ur crop and ur crop is compromised so im trying my best to not get in that situation :P

we go there so much coz is too hot, 35-40 degrees celsius, this is not normal for my country..but global warming, no rains so we gotta go and water them.

well, last year and this year (on start) i've germinate seeds BUT i find it a big waste of seeds, coz dunno why not all germinate and those which germinated didnt pop out from soil, not all of them... then i started without germinating and 95% of seeds pop up from soil, I WILL NEVER GERMINATE AGAIN !!!

hi ithg, look in basic growing for "dangers outdoor" greenbastard has a link for homeade organics. i wanted to tell you i enjoyed your first grow, i spent the whole night reading, lol. i never thought i would get tired of looking at plants. i was going to suggest the same thing about the cups, but yours did fine i guess. at the end of your last yrs log i googled cutworms, we have them here and i thought they might be similar. there was different cures for them like buying bennificial wasps to kill the larve, and wood ashes around your plants. do a little reading there and i think you will find some help. for ants, try traps, that way the chemicals dont get right in the ground. the ants crawl in and die. as far as soap goes, ive heard of just regular dishsoap. but it was for mites and it was just a few drops per gallon and sprayed on the plants, i believe they added baking soda to in small amounts. dont do it on a sunny day because the soap and water makes a little magnifying glass and can cause burns on your plants. same as dont add to much soap it can suffocate your leaves. if you know when it is going to rain do it like the day before so the soap will get washed off. hope any of this helps. btw you crack me up with your language. fuckercockheads. i hope you do well, and get lots of girls.

This is my first time piping in on your grow Ithg, but I am a huge fan and I hope my plants this season become half as healthy as yours. Ill be watching your grow, good luck and try some neem oil for your bug problems. Neem oil is an organic oil extracted from another type of plant that keeps bugs away, its all I use since my first worm attack earlier this season and they havent returned once. :thumbsup:
