No income tax, equal and sensible health care (not sure on this), a sturdy and set plan for Iraq... oh and legalization of our favorite little plant!

Gravel 2008 | Let the People Decide (http://www.gravel2008.us/)

On Weed: Students for Gravel » Mike Gravel says, “I would legalize marijuana.” (http://www.studentsforgravel.com/wordpress/?p=18)

Now I know its too early, but its cool to see someone with such a fire to make this (America) the powerhouse it used to be... Also he's a dick to the media, and who doesn't like the media getting a taste of its own medicine.

FYI He's on the Colbert Report tonight at 11:30.

But he'll never even get past the democratic primary. Democrats will want someone who will be able to become president so they can end the war in Iraq and start fixing all that BushCo had fucked up.

He is too excitable. He won't sit well with a majority of America who like how things are except for a small dissatisfaction with the war.

That guys insane! Hilariously funny though. Especially during the Democratic debate. But I don't know about you guys but i don't like ANY of the candidates yet....

His chance of winning is slim to none, but compared to Obama who has nothing to say, and Hillary who just likes being a bitch, he's my fave. Oh and fuck Edwards, I'd never let an ambulance chaser run my country, let alone my state.

I want someone who is republican/libertarian. That way the religious bullshit is gone, gays could marry, there would be no gun control, drugs legal, taxes lowered, and the republican side could deal with the economy.

As always we're choosing from the lesser of two evils. Democrats will do some things I don't like and republicans will do some things I don't like. Both have some good. I think the real logical thing to do is to change based on the situation. Right now the democrats are the ones really trying to get us out of Iraq so I'm with them. Whoever they choose at the end. I like Obama and Gravel. I hope Hilary doesn't get the nod. I will feel horrible voting for her, but I shall. I can't stand the bullshit from the republican side now adays. This war is bull it needs to end now. It was started with false pretenses it was proclaimed won when we had just started and we are now in the middle of someone elses civil war. We need to leave and say sorry and let them sort it out.

Look at what they're doing in congress not to mention their lil' speaches........LOL....they're making complete fools out of themselves and the people can see it. Pelosi/Murtha was probably the best thing that happened to the Republicans in the last 6 years.

Have a good one!:s4:

Yeah the only problem is is that we need a real republican. Not these Rhinos. Everyone is so busy trying to get votes and being vote whores that the Nation suffers.

I don't want one that follows the partys platform too closely........things like abortion rights, prostitution, seperation of church and state, etc.......the far right is a bit scary in their own right.

Someone like Reagan with a Bong.........now that would be a candidate!

'Real republican" ?? What is this that you speak of? You must be thinking of a moderate republican. They are useless in todays political climate.

This is the state of america: Republicans are bankrolled by large corporations and very rich individuals who want to sustain their own wealth. They make decisions concerning economy and policies based on what is best for those individuals. There are moderate republicans that do consider more than those people but the party majority will not allow those members to really get very far with their opinions.

Democrats are bankrolled by far left liberals and get elected by pulling on the heart string of America. They for the most part do far too much. Most of their 'social reforms' are just shots in the dark at the problem they are trying to fix. They tax the rich and try to help the poor, who just take advantage of their flawed policy.

Both sides SUCK.

However, only one side will without a doubt put a stop to the loss of american lives in the Iraq war. This will be what wins them the presidency.

hahahaha omg yes, the image is beautiful! But yeah i ahev to agree, the extreme bible banging right is just as bad as the Rosie O'Donnels in the world. What we need is a libertarian. However that doesn't seem like THAT will happen any time soon....but I can hope...

Gravel's amazing.

Withdraw from Iraq within 60 days. Eliminate the IRS and income tax. Give the people the power to make laws ("National Initiative for Democracy"). Put a hard cap on greenhouse gas emissions. Legalize same-sex marriage.

And of course... what about weed?

"That one is real simple, I would legalize marijuana. You should be able to buy that at a liquor store."

Seriously, give this guy the support he deserves. You may think he doesn't have a chance because he can't round up the kind of money that Hilary and Obama can. But what use is the money, really? This is the age of the internet. You're hearing about him right now. There's a long ways to go before the primaries. If you agree with Gravel, HELP HIM BECOME PRESIDENT!!! We can do it!

Hey, If the guy gets rollin and I think he has a chance, he's tops on my list, but I'd as soon see a dead skunk as the next president rather than a republican! So it's back to which one do you think has the best chance of beating the Republican candidate! We need to stop the madness first and foremost, then we can work on those issues that Mike gravel proposes. Any Democrat that will not stop the war immeadiately, will have a real hard time acquiring my vote. Dennis Kucinich is also high on my list!

I would rather have americas wealth in large companies than actually in the government because atleast they are somewhat efficient, unlike the gov.
