making a pic into a smaller file

ive got this picture i really want to upload but its 3Mb... can anyone help me make iit smaller

the pic is of my 5foot glass on glass

i really want to show all yall but its to big of a file! GRR:(

What i did once was open the file->right click->edit in paint->save as->*.jpg
You could probably find the pic from inside paint and save it as a .jpg file

check your rep in control panel and I'll do it for you
