My room has an expected completion in 5 weeks.
I need to extend the cycle by a week or two. I need more time. The plants may be ready, but am not.
Are there any suggestions on prolonging the grow cycle without harming the flowers?

Typical indoor ripening time is 8 weeks.
5 weeks is very desirable, but rare. 6-7 is considered fast.
Only a few strains come in under 50 days.

I believe that slightly dropping temps (no lower than 70 day 65 night) can give you a couple extra days as the plant's metabolism slows... BUT I do not recommend fucking with that because if you have ANY soil pH problems, lowering the temps will wreak havoc with your plants' ability to uptake nutrients.

Allowing your plants to go overripe by a week isn't the end of the world; you will get a stonier buzz out of it, and by 2 weeks overripe you might see a bunch of male flowers, but if you are not running a perpetual crop, this isn't a problem so much.

Personally I'd only go an extra week.

You still have to check visually for ripeness!

There is a building inspection next door and I can not be working until after.
I need up two two weeks to be past the inspection. It sucks to be me.
Most people are wanting to speed it up. I was hppy with 8-9 week grow. But now I'm screwed for additioanl time.
