Keep in mind that spring is here and all of us folks who have SAD (Seasonally Affected Disorder) should be breaking out of it pretty soon.

In the meantime... SMOKE a doobie. GO outside for a walk in the park. LOOK at the beauty around you! DO something nice for someone- hold open a door, give a compliment, or other little stuff like that. Make an effort to SMILE and stand up straight (not standing at attention, but like you have a right to be here- which you do!). Make sure you have a good DIET- lots of fresh fruits and veggies (dump the junk food!) and start taking B vitamins and fish oils (both help fight depression). May you have a good day. :D - Granny:hippy:

Good reminder Granny! If you are depressed, just keep yourself active - most physicisians will reccomend plenty of exercise, because it's been proven to decrease stress. Stress being a major cause of depression, exercise always seems to be the remedy.

Be positive, positive things will come, and open new doors for you. Be negative, you get negative back, and that only holds you back, closing the doors you have already opened. :)

The outdoors is stunning right about now. Where i work everything just looks magical. It's all so perfect - and the way everything is working together to make this amazing place. Life wouldnt be the same for me without those things. Take a walk, and just look. Nature will always put a smile on my face- maybe it'll put a smile on yours too. Hope ya feel happier.

in time of need i smoke a bone and listen to some heavy metal.

Father forgive me for I know not what I do
I tried everything, but I'll leave it up to you
I don't want to live, I don't know why
I don't have no reasons, I just want to die
I'm a suicidal failure, I've got to get some help
I have suicidal tendencies, but I can't kill myself
I'm tired of this way of life, my patience has expired
I'm barely just 19, but my life I will retire
I went down to a rifle store, I bought myself a gun
I pointed it at my head, but I couldn't get the job done
I took all my mothers sleeping pills
I jumped off a freeway bridge
I drank three kinds of poison
And drove my car off a ridge
I beat myself with a bat
Put a noose around my head
I overdosed on heroin
But I'm still not dead
Death may not be the answer, it can't be all that great
But me I'm not into living, with life I can't relate
By some masochistic reasoning, I think that it will be fun
I want to start my second life now
So shoot me with your gun

^wow thats pretty dark, dude. I listen to heavy metal if I'm pissed, Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Decapitated, Soilent Green, Misery Index, etc. But in times of deep depression, I say the best suggestion is to get stoned and go out for a walk, try to discover something amazing, go back to being a kid again. Hope you feel better soon, dude.

Awww, hang in there, guy. Just remember, this too shall pass. (And be replaced by something equally annoying, probably, but at least it will be different)

If that doesn't help I can sing you a couple of verses from Annie's 'Tomorrow'

Your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries.

seiriously listen to Storm Crow... go out and sit in the sun for a while... it really really does help.

What helps me, sticking on my favourite music then going outside and lying on my trampoline smoking weed and just staring up at the clouds....Talk to people aswell, somebody that you can talk to and that wont irritate you to annoy you more...

If it makes you feel better I've been a gloomy gus lately my damn self. Oh well, learn to embrace your depression like whoever up there just said.
