Portable Air-conditioner

Does anyone know if a portable air conditioner (not window) would exhaust smells out of its exhaust hose. Peace

Also, would Co2 be exhausted?

from what i know they exhaust the fumes from the compressor or something to that effect, and use a cooling element that is seperate from the tube going outdoors
