I'm trying to get ideas for breeding. What kind of traits do you guys think are important for you both in growing and in "ingesting" your finished product? Please keep in mind that you most likely cannot have EVERYTHING.....for instance if mold resistance is important to you then you may have to compromise on the final yield.

Also....please feel free to list strains you like yourself and why....both pros and cons if possible.

THANKS!!:D Toke on....:wtf:

well most important is the high, then after that the taste, after that is ease to grow and the last most important thing is yeild for me.

Now when you say "the high"..what kind of high do you want....more sativa or indica? Couchlock or energizing?

First of all Dest I think your av is hysterical!
But for traits, #1 is a plant that is tough, hardy, vigorous, and has a nice structure.
Most of the nice shit that I have dealt with, honestly, the traits for smooth sweet flavor and respectable yield are pretty consistent.
I like to see a plant that can thrive under abuse.
This is because I still [stupidly] believe that a plant that is still considered a weed in some circles needs to be a hardy motherfucker.
Just my HO.
ho.

Yes I definitelly agree with you on the hardiness issue Stinky.....ain't got nothin' if you ain't got the plant. It's funny how you can hover over it (to death) yet some people just toss them outside and forget about them and they do great.

Now structure-wise.....what do you think of as nice? How tall? How bushy?

Squat.
Bushy if pinched.
Able to produce a solid cola tip -to- dirt if not.
Leaves that are thick and stiff and could handle a touch of frost if they had too.

For examples, I've seen sweet tooth plants with that GREAT leaf stiffness... BlueMoonRocks and Yeag's MTF with a cola down to the dirt... and strains with NL in their recent heritage tend to have above average toughness.

1. - Strong Potency, Usually Indica prefered. Or a super strong Sat like some haze crosses. No use here for the fruity tasting, or perfume smelling, or pretty purple looking, so called "up highs" unless they are also real strong.
2 - Grows fast and strong with standard practices and very little "babying"
3. Yield.
4 . Structure and stature are last with me, cause all are going outside. Nobody is going to see em but me and I dont care if they get 15 ft tall and 10 ft wide.
