Ok so I got a cab about 3.5 ft tall and a 2 site DWC bucket.....Ive loaded the bitch with CFLwhich are great for vegginf so far....what I would like to do is get a 150w HPS and use the CFL's I already have for supplimental lighting.....my question...
Will even a 150 watt bulb get to hot for when my plants get to the top of the cabinet...its seems exesive to get a cool tube in such a small cab. I also need to keep the reservior cool and heat build up will only create more problems. Ideally i would like to just keep the 2 120mm case fans i use for intake and exhaust...

I think for that cabinet size you could use a 24" wide 4 bulb T5 and get away with the fans you have. Thats the setup I run in my mother/cloning cab.

i think i may go the t5 route.....it would fit so perfectly in my cab its sick....i was gonna get a pioneer jr VI....7600 lumens in addition to my other 4-42 what bulbs would hopefully be enough to flower.....we shall see!
the heat build up will just be too hard to control and stealth is a priority.
