Well tonight im going to find out, I found some vitamin c pills and im planning on taking 5.
Each pill contains: 500mg vitamin c, %RDA-833, Cellulose, Lactose, Stearic Acid, Povidone, Maize Starch and Silca
Questions:
im taking 5 pills so i was wondering if any of the above mentioned things would be 'bad' in high quantities?
how long should take them before i smoke?

This is silly.
You're only usually supposed to take a couple of vitamin tablets a day, doesn't it say that on the packet? You'll get the shits or something.
Whenever I need to reduce red eye and sober up, I drink lots of orange juice, and it works.

take 2, not 5. anything in exess is bad for you. one pill should be a days worth of vit C, you dont need to 5X the dose.

I actually heard that vitamin c was supposed to make the effects of marijuana wear off quicker not make them stronger. I heard this from a registered nurse who is also a distributor of medical marijuana so...
As far as your specific question is concerned, too much vitamin c will not harm you. It is water soluble so what your body doesn't need it will piss out. Vitamin E, however, is fat soluble, so it will get stored up in your fat. You can have too much vitamin E but it would be pretty hard to do unless you're taking handfulls of supplements regularly for days. The other ingredients are pretty much harmless as well. Cellulose and lactose are sugars, stearic acid is found natuarlly in many foods we eat. Maize starch is a fancy word for corn starch. Silica is basically sand, you'd have a better chance of being harmed by a bag of sand falling off a truck than eating too much. And finally, the rather evil sounding "%RDA-833" isn't an ingredient at all. It's an indication that 500mg is 833% of the recommended daily amount.

You can take about 15-20 grams of Vitamin C before anything really bad will happen. You'll be fine.

Yes, you can... but its a complete waste... 500mg is already FAR much more than the daily needs (833%, or more than 8x). Ive heard the body can absorb at most 500-1000mg/day, so if you ingest more than it, it will be simply expelled unused.
For me, the C vitamin seems make me less sleepy and more alert during the high. I never tried to measure the duration of the high... but im planning to do it today and see what happens.

Yes, this is called sobering up.

I've never heard of Vitamin C increasing the high from weed. I've heard taking Vitamin C when you're on E boosts it up since E completely lowers your immune system, while Vitamin boosts it up. I don't see how Vitamin C can increase your high some smoking though, someone please explain.

Any vitamin will probably increase blood flow, so it will either help the THC into your brain or it will go into your liver and metabolize. Different for different people I guess.

Yes, this is called sobering up.
Not always... i stay high, my mind keeps thinking millions of thoughts per second, and yet feel less sleepy and more alert than if i had not drinked the vitamin c.
The alertness means sobering when you smoke some couchlock indica. When you smoke sativa ones (as i do), alertness and energy means youre high.

I've heard the same thing, just never in conjunction with bud.
Rather, different substances... But I'll fully attest to the truth of those claims.
