hey i have 4 two week old plants. Just today i noticed that the embryoic leaves (the round ones that are the first visible leaves) on one of that plants are turning yellowish brown. I am getting ready to transplant ..that plant is a bit taller than its pot. Other plants seem to be doin fine. is this because the plant is too big for the pot? I am using normal growing soil and a weed florsesent light bulb.
Any ideas on wut it could be?

...nevermind. I misread the 4 weeks as two weeks for some reason.
It's normal for cotyledons to yellow and fall off at that age...no worries.
those cotyledons will wither and die on all the plants eventually, all they are used for is the initial jump-start of photosynthesis, when it starts to grow real sets of leaves (that photosynthesize better) , the cotyledons die off.

Ya the two leaves that first emerged from the seedling are going to fall off. I wasn't sure about it when I first started and posted pictures as well haah
