"Cute" Names

Alright, we all have that name we call our significant other, wether it be baby, sweetheart, babe or something else.

It's just that I absolutely hate cutsey names. They make my insides curdle.

I tend to get churned about other, heavier stuff than cutesy names. I use them on others, and they're welcome to use them on me if they want.

The names I use on folks are only on people I know really well and vice versa. I rarely have mere acquaintances use such names on me.

I generally make some sort of play or alteration to people's existing names. Dave (Davy) easily converts to Doobie, for instance. Our son, who has a slightly different version of his father's name, has gone by "Sonny" his entire life. Those are more nicknames than cutesy names, I'd say.

Yeah...we call eachother baby...and all kinds of renditions of it...and all kinds of other weird names..
..but were not shy about it..haha..
I think the worst one he has for me is tittymuffin..he started to call me that to be annoying..and then it kind of caught on.
