Does the chlorine in tap water kill the little guys in the soil???

I doubt it is concentrated enough; after all, if it were that strong, we shouldn't be drinking it for fear of killing the beneficials in our digestive systems...

chlorine in your tap:
will it kill anything beneficial in the soil? - I don't know for sure.
will it kill or even hurt you plants? - no, not at all.

No, not quite that long but I have been growing this crop seriously for about ten yrs now. I grew up in an environment where we grew vegetables as a needed food source. I've been starting seeds of various types every season since about the age of 12. That's over 30 yrs now. In the beginning days it was for food, later it became a hobby. :jointsmile:
