just curious.. my grandparents been trying to sell this truck for months, and i keep telling them ain't nobody gonn apay what they're asking....

it's a 79 dodge dually (but not diesel.. lol wtf? almost all dually's are deisel) with fuel problems (i honestly feel sorry for anyone who buys it... they've had it in the shop multiple times, and i can't figure it out either... it is 100% fuel problem... but they've nearly replaced/fixed every part and still has a problem....) they want 1,200.00 for it.... it's got body damage as well... someone dropped a 5th wheel trailer-home on the sides of it's bed (there used to a be a fifth wheel in it, hence the fifth wheel trailer damage.. it's not horrible, but it's definately not just a dent....)

so would you pay 1,200.00 for it? you can't drive it anywhere as is... it'll die on you soon as you put it in gear... if not hten, then 2 blocks afterwards.. it's been sitting up for nearly 2 years with like a bi-monthly start up.... and that's about hte only real 'maitnence' it's had since it got limited to the drive way...

so would you pay 1,200 for it...

keep in mind it is a v-8... and IT DOES eat up gas like no other... probably like 12-15 MPG.. it's an old truck.... a gas guzzler...

I think the best option is to sell it to some highschool kids for a few hundred bucks. Let them destroy it during a pep rally or something. I always enjoyed doing that in highschool...

I certainly wouldn't pay that for it though.

we live in texas.. no offense to any spanish members..

but this place is full of nothing but mexicans... i sold my POS 83 station wagon, that didn't run, and the doors on one side were literally rusting off (among other problems) to 'em... i also sold an 85 chrysler fifth avenue to one, that also didn't run, and had alot of body damage, AND chasis damage (it was hit by a van going 80, while it was parked on the street... it was pretty fucked up lmao...)

they'll buy anything... but damnit lol... this truck has been out there 3 times as long as anything i've ever sold, and they still haven't had one single solid lead on it... i keep telling them it's their price.....

i sold my car with 2 cardboard signs written in sharpe...

they got two FOR SALE (the bright orange ones) signs on the truck, and i got more attention on my car in a week, then they've got in the past months on this truck.... i keep telling them it's the price... it's the price.. but they won' tlisten to me! no one's going to buy that peice of shit for 1,200.. i'd be suprised if anyone even expressed intrest in it at 750...

(both the cars i've sold were far worse off, and i had to lower the price on both... the chrysler from 700 to 500, and the station wagon from 500 to 300 [and even ended up cutting a deal wiht someone for 250])

Well, in that condition i'd only pay about £150 for it, which is near enough $300.

What they want to do is advertise it for spares!
