already growing NL from nirvana

interested in growing a c99 cross for a different sort of high, looking at joey weed seeds from hempdepot

indoor cab grow

NLxc99 seems great, but i have reservations of growing another strain with NL in it. thoughts?

c99xak47 sounds very sativa-y, but i worry about odor, and haven't heard much about it

c99xapollo11 also seems an interesting choice

thoughts? looking for a more UP high as opposed to NL; will grow a few NL along with the new strain; needs to be short-ish, i imagine it'll be quite a bit taller than the NL, but as close as possible in size

For some reason I think that Plan B Collective has something with C99 in its heritage... check out cannaseur.com... not many seed vendors deal in their stuff but the genetics are ROCK SOLID. I am personally quite impressed with their Black Indica... yummers!

I have Joey Weeds nlxc99 . I'm 4 days into flowering. Very bushy plant. Did get a smaller viney plant that was a bitch to keep healthy. Got 6 Fs out of ten. I kept the 4 best plants. One great nl type plant and another that type that looks the same but a little more open(leggy) . Cloned all 4 x 2. I'll let you know how it all works out in about 2 months. There was a guy named 'road cam' I belive, that grew this out and I chose nl99 on his recomandations.

'Roadcam', ('the Image Reaper's alter-ego  ), still says his Joey Weed 'NL99's have been the best commercial seeds he has purchased, regarding ease of growth, sexing, potency, yield, and stability - he has spent a LOT more money on 'Big-Name' seeds, with lots of fame and reputation, and been dis-satisfied with the results - Joey Weed is a bit more expensive than some 'bargain' seedbanks, but, as Reaper says "my seeds arrived promptly, in pristine condition, and are presently growing into beautiful plants, while others are complaining about non-received seeds, crushed seeds, hermaphroditic plants, lots of variation, and poor communication with the seedbank - so who spent the most money - them, or me ???" :D
Reaper and I agree that the simple receipt of 'seeds', doesn't make a seedbank any better than another - lots of folks get on here saying "I got my seeds from 'Cheapass Seeds' today !!! yippee ! they must be the world's best seedbank" - horseshit, :beatdeadhorse: you don't know if you got your money's worth, until you've grown them out - I have absolutely no doubt some people are paying good money for bagseed with fancy names from some of these 'seedbanks' -
Image Reaper gives his best to StinkyAttic, and a handful of other old friends, here at Cannabis.com Forums - he still refuses to be seen here however, due to his concerns regarding minors and what he considers 'bad image' of the present website - (he does frequent a couple other websites, and is a 'Press-credentialed' member of 'Treating Yourself' magazine website, a medical MJ organization) -
oh, Reaper was just now laughing at all the 'Lowryder' threads :D - he says "grow a small, no-yield, non-potent, questionable marijuana strain, then serve the same jail time as a REAL marijuana plant" (even recently, some botanical books do NOT recognize 'Ruderalis' as a legitimate cannabis strain - but, yes, they may fit under your bed, where Mommie might not find them) - anyway, that's our :twocents:

indeed, MOTAREBEL's 'Knight Templar' (as are all his strains) is top-notch gear - unfortunately, his product is very hard to find, since he got busted last year - there are a couple of Growshop Alien customers, that have rat-holed a couple of his strains, so they won't be lost forever - the Alien connection is the only one I know of, and they are reliable, ship to USA - :smokin:

Frank,
on the subject of these nl99's, do the buds 'plump up' and put on wieght at the end or do they just keep chugging along ? Its to late now but there are a shitload of 'minibuds' down low and I suspect I should have trimmed them because they aren't really getting much light. That is my fault because I didn't realise that when they went into strech they also kinda streched sideways too. I've been going fairly light with the ferts , supplemented with liquid karma and liquid humus. Can they take the nutes or should I just continue to lightly feed them? Any additional info and suggestions on this strain would be appreciated.
I must say they are looking 'the nuts'. I'm very impressed so far.

our NL99s had steady bud growth throughout the flowering period, no growth spurts to speak of, good dense buds, lots of popcorn buds on the bottom branches - Flowered at 12/12 for about 8-9 weeks, could be pulled at 7 weeks, but I recommend waiting until you have about 20% amber trichomes, takes the edge off - I used mild nutes during flowering, but added a bit of blackstrap molasses in the first week, and the 6th week - no nutes last two weeks, good soil flushing - dry over 3-4 days, then cure to your liking (I cure a month before even sampling it) -
