You must be talking in, like, yen or pesos or something, or otherwise that is WAY too fucking expensive.

wow...that's so expensive...I've been told $500 oz. around where I'm at for high quality stuff, not gonna get that out of me even for a zip..let alone 14 grams..even if it grew legs and wiped my ass, those flowers aren't worth that much money.

man, those are some pretty dense nugs.

man, those are some pretty dense nugs.
I appreciate the compliment but just out of curiosity, can anyone explain to me how density can influence the price? Because an 1/8 should weigh 3.5 grams no matter how dense it is right? I could be wrong but the guy i got it from also said that they were dense and which was the reason why it was $50 for an 1/8.
Or does density mean something completely different?
Also how do you all check the weight of a bag of weed?
ie: 1/8 = 3.5g in the bag or out of the bag?
The bag i received weighed 3.5g including the baggy (which i think i got screwed out of a gram b/c the bag if i remember weighs 1 gram).

Density is defined as mass per volume. So the deal with density is that if the nugs have a high density, they weigh more then a nug of the same physical size.
Density should NOT effect the price. The only thing the density should effect is the actual physical amount of bud that you receive, because a quarter of dense bud will take up much less space in the bag then a quarter of fluffy bud. However, $50 an eighth is not a bad price, if you live in the states (which I see by your flag that you apparently don't, but seeing as you told us the price in American dollars I am going to assume you are in the states).
And YES, you definately need to have it weighed outside the bag. If not, you are paying for a gram of plastic baggie, which is worthless. You NEED to make sure that it is weighed outside the bag, or at least that a little is added to the weight to compensate, but really the best is to get it weighed out of the bag.
I hope this all helped you! (I have a lot of weed knowledge behind these pretty green eyes, lol. ;) :p)
Looks like lovely bud. But a baggie weighing a gram? Jesus, what's it made from? An 1/8 baggie should weigh something like .2 or .3

The baggy it was in is your standard sandwich bag if that helps. hell ill just weigh it again.
Ok right, then you could be right. I thought you meant one of those small reseable ones.

Sandwich bags with a zip close, rather then the ones that just fold over, will count for a bit of the weight.

Sandwich bags without a zip weigh exactly a gram. Adding a little more knowledge to them green eyes.

I thought that without a zip closure it was a little less, but the ones with a zip were usually a gram. How much do the ones with zip closures weigh then?
I dunno, I see my stuff weighed out in front of me before going in the bag, so I don't really deal with that.

Same here, always have that shit weighed OUT of the bag!! Truthfully though the zip bags vary, and its never an even number like 1, when I used to sell at CU I would use the sammich bags, hence my knowledge of them weighing a gram on the dot.

Gotcha, gotcha. The fold over ones are very consistent weight-wise so that is why they can be considered to weigh 1 gram a piece. Thank you for enlightening me!
