Why do I have over 1000 rep points, yet my dots haven't increased past 800 (8 rep buttons)?

The next rep square goes up every time, it's not 100 rep points per square.

in the begining you get a drk green square like per 100 points as you get up to the lt greens it's like 150 per after about 6 lt greens it goes up to like 200 per...
