post-stash clean up...

so i did my post stash clean up... basicly, cleaning pipes for resin, collecting the keif at the bottom of my stash can (it collects alot actually... compared to most stash cans/jars... it has this rim that goes around the bottom tha'ts just big enough for keif to fall and gather in... with a needle you can get it all out, up to a half bowl of keif...

anyways... about 3/4 bowl of resin, and 1/4 keif... resin in the bowl, keif on top... looks like i'm getting high even tho my stash is gone...

anybody else that has/had problems finding stashes, had a pretty much religious post stash clean up procedure?

usually i wait a couple of days so my tollerance goes down a bit, making it go further, but i'm still exceptionally burnt out from this past week.... figured i might as well.....

perhaps you should do more research...

resin is filled with thc.. the reason most people don't wanna mess with it, is cuz it's filled with contaminants...

resin probably has higher ammounts of both then bud does (thc and contaminant levels)

either way, it's mostly reserved for the desperate... and since lately time between stashes has been huge, and knowing when i'd see it again, was impossible... you could say i'm 'desperate'

I have smoked resin maybe once or twice or a couple of hundred times. Lots of times...it will get you high for sure...it is just not the cleanest high.

The "rez" is the residue.

Now - this is the truth.

It has a VERY small amount of THC. Very small. And the reason is fairly obvious. At a certain heat THC is vaped away - gone. Now that residue resin is the tar in the smoke and the plant matter. For it to get to that point, it's been very hot, and vaped a hell of alot of the THC away.

That's why it's hardly got any THC in it, not to mention all the carciogens and just plain tar in it.

I wouldnt personally smoke it - but some people do and get high from it - more power to them i say. I personally think it's more placebo than anything - but does it matter? If you feel high it works.

I smoke resin sometimes. i love to save kief tho!
i guess i have a post-stash routine too. first i collect all my stems and what not
put em in a small container, and shake the hell outta them. then collect the keif from lid.

i like to keep my pipes and bongs clean, but i normally just throw the resin away.

Can't say I've smoked resin but I do scrape my grinders and stash pots when there's a drought or some shit. Can't beat a nice keif joint, my grinder gets soooo full of it! Mmmmmm:stoned:

what is with people bashing resin? it really does have THC in it. it takes a temperature of around 350F to vaporize thc. now if you are inhaling that THC (with smoke and tar combined) through a pipe, much of the THC and tar will stick to the sides of the pipe, so even though the THC has been vaporized, it can still adhere to the pipe. I dont see how people can try to deny the THC in rez, if you have ever smoked it, you would know that it will fuck you up. only thing, try to water filter it if you can, there are alot of contaminents.

I can attest that getting high off resin is 110% NOT placebo and has absolutely nothing to do with placebo.

It was always known around here at least that resin is more potent than the weed before smoked. It makes sense, as all the THC passes through the resin from all the weed you smoked before, thus making it stronger? [I dunno how true this is, but it makes simple sense..all I know is it's definitely not LESS potent]

I dunno, but resin definitely gets me and everyone I've ever known higher faster and it's a stronger high.

We used to smoke resin balls in blunts, not because we were desperate, but to get very high! If you can't take a little tar, don't do it, but it's never adversely affected my lungs. But, probably shouldn't be done routinely...everything in moderation, even resin.

It definatly isnt more potent. It cant be. The heat from the buring material would have vaped almost all the THC away. Think about it.

Like i said - if people want to smoke it, fine, if they enjoy it good for them - but it's not for me.

You're my man Lippa, and I didn't want to disagree with you, but you do get higher from it. It's not for me either man trust me, but I have experience and viewed the results first hand so I can comment...it's hard to say much if you've never smoked it.

those "contaminates" making resin on ur bowl are the same contaminates ur throwing in your brownies or smoking in ur joints..even vapes have resin on tubing...id say a bong is probly the safest but i dunno..u can smoke that resin in a bubbler and u can get blazed and it doesnt taste bad at all

even tho i do smoke resin.... actually no they're not.... when you burn stuff, diffrent parts change diffrently on a molecular level, and becoming a new substance....

true but my point was kinda more directed at the fact that if u dont want resin, u probly shouldnt be smoking weed...u can only taste hte weed cuz theres molecules in the smoke that settle on ur tongue, those molecules r in all weed- its just a tad more concentrated in the resin...like i said i would think a bong is the only that makes a diff but i dunno

I dunno about all this "resin gets you higher casuse i has more THC" stuff but I do know I smoke resin when need be...It gets me high, tastes like crap unless it's resin from a month of smoking dank lol... Just use a bong for the res...(Bongs are always good anyways)..If the taste bothers you too much swap the water for kool aid or sum shit...lol

I can't remeber the last time I cleaned my pieces because I was out of smoke. I usually clean them when they have to be done. That's either when resin starts leaking out of the shotgun hole, or the smoke tastes gross/is harsh. Other than that, I sell it to this one goofy person I know. I mean, there is weed everywhere here, and he chooses to buy 2gram vials of resin oil off of me for $20. :p Good for me, but silly for him.

whenever im dry and want to get high, i simply take out my pipe and suck the flame through the hole in the bowl to get a few resin hits, or i scrape a small ball

i clean my pipes out.
and you'd be amazed about how much bud ive found on my floor..potheads are not the neatest of people.
but i deffinately have my post stash rituals
