I never towel germ'. I believe the less handling/stress the better...

I plant in anything that allows me to never touch the plant again...

4" pot filled with a sterile hyponex $ store, wally's soil, perlite, & Peat.

Jiffy Pellets (easiest on earth, if you follow... directions),

Rockwool (hated by some...loved by the rest).

Oasis (what We all use on the commercial hydro-farms).

I never buy fem seeds. I truly believe it is all in the way you handle them that helps to determine the sex. Call me crazy, but I always get very high fem ratio, when I use new genetics.

best way in my opionion would be!

Any seed you wish as long it is from a viable seed bank(well known), if you havent get time but you got money get yourself the BEST fem seeds if not just get good viable mixed seed!

Best germination method is:

planting your seed around 1/4 - 1/2 inch deep in rockwool and puting the rockwool with seed in it, into a heated propergator.

All seeds should sprout in 2-5 days if seed is from a good company.
