Getting stoned with a head cold :(

I don't recomend it, I've been sick since the mornin of 420, and when I get stoned, its just not the same, it sucks :( It seems to amplify my sinus pressure on my head, it sucks! Oh well could be worse. Ever been so sick that ya just didn't get high at all? I did once, it really sucked!

What were you smokin out of? Last time I was sick (strep throat :wtf: ) I found that if I put ice water in my bong and packed half bowls, I could hit it without irritating my throat too much, and the resulting high made me feel better about the whole situation.

Conclusion: there is nothing weed can't do!

I don't know sometimes smoking will make me feel better but other times it will make me feel a whole lot worse or it can just do nothing. It really just depends on the sickness that you have and what mood you are in. Most of the time when I am sick it does help but really you just never know. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

yea if u got a stomach flu, don't smoke, it'll upset ur stomach real bad.
I was sick with a cold on 4/20. The joint i had killed my throat.

Ur head probably hurt alot because of all the coughing, i swear it makes ur brain rattle against the braincase. Like JackTheTripper said, use a bong w/ cold water and u'll be fine.

I had a fever 420, It made me feel so much worse. It also made me feel everything that wwa wrong with me at the time ( bladder infection ) It really sucked.. to the point were i was like wtf why did i smoke lol

Damn been smokin since I got this cold, not sure if its worth it, Its been 4 days now! and everytime I get stoned I feel great for the first part, but when I reach the burn out phase holly fuck does my head start to hurt agin, but worse! Think I might have to lay off the weed till I get better?...but then again I proably won't lol

im really ill with flu/headcold atm so i broke in my new bong and it got rid of my headache and i felt great, but then my mum came home early (luckily i had finnished) and she was really pissed off coz i raided the kitchen when i was stoned and ate a ton of food :( then she made me exercise so it ruined it lol

yeah i was sick for 2 weeks and i smoked almost every day, it kinda sucked, but it made me feel a whole lot better.

Any time I have had a cold or something and have got high it's made me feel better. If I have a really bad cough it will go away when im high....but im weird in that way.

yeah dude i smoked like 4gs of hash sunday with 2 other buddies and i had been sleeping outside for like 3 days. lots of bronchitis like symptoms for me and tonsa allergies out of no where, but at least i got that hc tuss from my doc. stoping smoking isnt worth it unless its causing you cough pain. :jointsmile:
