Ok this is my full report on my first experience of ordering from growshopalien. I ordered all my seeds on april 1st. I put an order in for Mandala Hashberry , Nirvana Northern Lights and Nirvana AK-48. The next day after ordering I recieved the order conformations (2) diff ones Northern lights was on one ak-48 and hashberry on another. That confused me but I didnt think anything of it at the time. Anyways I recieved the nirvana northern lights seeds along with freebie seeds called alien NLX (northern lights x white widow) in the mail around april 11th. I waited untill april 16th to email growshopalien about my other seeds , they said they never sent them they asked me to send the order conformation that they sent me. Well yesterday april 21 the rest of my seeds came the Mandala Hashberry , the Nirvana ak-48 and they also gave me a pack of Nirvana k2 and another pack of alien NLX so I can give them a good review. Also some peopel say the have to sign for there orders from growshopalien , with me I didnt have to sign for either package both were just in the mailbox. They kinda messed up the initial shipping but there honesty is nice, and they made up for it by getting me the second seeds quickly (like 5 days!)once they realised they messed up and the freebies are nice!

I have been a member there for a couple years. Good genetics. I am glad this turned out to be a "positive review"

I understand growshopalien to be above board, and generous with his "genetics"

Have Fun!

I ordered from them after I didn't get a response from Cannabisseeds.com.

I'm hoping I get to add to the postive vibe on this thread!

It's been just over a week and a half.....So , I should have them soon...I hope!

I, too, was very happy with my first orders from Alien - but, then, after receiving 'Barney's Willie Nelson' seeds that were positively NON-viable, they coincidentally stopped responding to my e-mails (funny, they responded quite well, BEFORE they got my money) - no excuses about shipping damage, X-rays, etc, as the freebie seeds in the same order, were all fine, and germinated immediately - I politely asked for some response from them and their supplier, Barney's, to no avail - evidentally, they don't have any sense of 'customer service' or responsible business practices - - Growshop Alien, never again

freewheelinfrank sorry to hear that , there customer support isnt the fastest and there is a language barrier but they responded to both my emails. Also they admitted they made a mistake that they never sent out my second half of my order and corrected it quickly. Then today I get more hashberry and ak48 seeds. I can only go from my experience the seeds I got came in unopened breeders packs and if they dont germ I would blame that on the breeder. I think they might have been burned from people in the past is why there doubtful about non-germing seeds. Did you try getting them to respond to you in there order forums???. They came though for me so I will order from them again Possibly a high grade strain im thinking sage or sage & sour. I wish they carried tga subcool seeds a few of there strains look real nice.

" we didn't make them " - now, there's a hell of an example of 'Customer Service' - I am well aware that you didn't 'make them', but, since YOU have my money, and YOU are in contact with the Breeder, (Reeferman), and the Retailer, (Barney's Farm), my very polite e-mail requests for you to try for some sort of seed replacement from either of them, were definitely not out-of-line - my car dealer didn't 'make' my car, but they stand behind their product line - regardless, you have a LOT to learn about running a responsible business - maybe if you talk to Brad at HEMP DEPOT, you can learn something about Ethics

hello alien thx for the quick service.
freewheelinfrank , think about it from there perspective they probally have complaints like that all the time (mostly from people who dont have a clue about growing) and then resending out seeds that made it to the person would drive up prices alot, shipping isnt cheap either. Im not sayin either of you is right, lol im staying out of that one but in there eyes they sent you the seeds in the unopened breeders pack and thats about all you can ask of a seed company. I might be a little biased since I was so pleased with my ordering from them. What freebie seeds of theres did you grow? the alien nlx? If so I would like to know whatyou think of it because ive got those also.

first, my expensive Barney's Farm Willie Nelsons were NOT mailed in an un-opened breeders package, - there were ten seeds in a small vial with a piece of scotch tape on the lid, and a corner-slice of the Barneys hologram-type label enclosed .. (I still have it) ... does that sound kosher to anyone ? ... also, in my e-mails, I carefully explained I am a 40+ year grower, and the good reasons why I KNOW the seeds were un-viable .... however, the ten free 'SourJack' seeds, mailed in the same envelope as the Willies, were viable, and germinated in 4-8 hours, VERY fresh seeds ... that demonstrated more evidence the Willies were no good, as IF the mailed package went thru seed-damaging X-ray, etc, OR I am a fuck-up grower, the Sourjacks would also have been NO GOOD ... I only answer your question, as I feel you have need to know - I KNOW what I'm talking about, and was growing grass before most of you were born (literally) ... anyway,, I'm finished with this matter - everyone can, and will, buy seeds wherever they care to, I only point out my results from Growshop Alien - I am currently accumulating my own seed-strains, and IF future seed-purchases are necessary, they will be from HEMP DEPOT - and, if Hemp Depot makes me unhappy, fuck them, too

I planned of trying a couple of Joey weeds seeds from hemp depot eventually.
Do there orders take long to get the orders shipped out? Strange that they came that way mine were all in unopened packs.

when ordering from Hemp Depot, you MUST go to any post office, and buy an International Postal Money Order for the amount - don't worry, it is not in your name, or anything - (in fact, I leave mine blank, and let them fill it out when they receive it) - I always pay the extra $5 for their 'Fast Shipping' option - first time, I received my order 12 days after I mailed my order in - my latest order made the round-trip in 7 days, I was really surprised, even though I mailed my orders U.S. Priority Mail - btw, my Joey Weed seeds were NOT in any kind of sealed package - I won't say here, what their stealth shipping method is, but their quality was outstanding

I had a positive experience with Alien. Got the beans in like 10 days. However, I had to sign for them. What the fucks up with that. I just happened to be home when the mail man knocked on my door. Anyway, I will order from them again. I have some Jack herer, sweet thai and sweet afgan. Anyone know anything about these strains?

Peace

GodBud I asked growshopalien that question in there forums and they replied by saying that if the order is over a certain amount they send it by registered mail.
If you wouldnt have been home they woulda tried re-delivering it , or they would have left a pink slip in your mail box to tell you to come to the post office to pick it up.

He apologized for the email problem, noting they had problems with their email...and the 1st statement, was merely as it read. He is Sorry for your bad seeds, but he is just the Middle man on those...WN...

At least that is what I read out of it.

I would email them again, now that they claim email to be fixed. Perhaps you will get a positive response if you respond in kind. Peace and Goodluck

KL4D4 lol have u checked out my grow lately bro? my girls are on there 8th day of 12/12 already showing good bud formation for so early. Soon as these are done flowering ill be growing the hashberry and ak-48 , got 4 seedlings of each vegging as we speak. Plan on making a log of them eventually after my other grow show's finished. (along with a couple clones of the plants I got now)

My experience was just like freewheelinfrank. I used them a number of times very satisfied and then got my pack of $100 bubbleberry that wouldn't germinate, while numerous other strains same germ were 100%, as always, for many, many years. Their response seemed cold, that it was a matter of luck. So, for that result of a $100 investment i've chosen to go elsewhere. I buy gross amounts of seeds and that happened to be their luck in return for what felt like a cold response. Customer service is key in any industry!

hello

We're always happy to replace seeds with our own seeds, most breeders don't support their product, read the fineprint on their site, they take no responsiblity for their own seed. Some breeders do replace seeds..

Sadly but we will not replace seeds made by other companies if they dont support their own product. That would be crazy, thats asking your tv seller to replace your broken tv. No its the duty of the maker to replace your product.

Sadly barneys has crappy customer service and would be almost impossible to get replacement..

We hate it as much as you that our customers have bad luck with seeds, but its one step to far for me, to replace all bad products from all breeders. Im sorry but we stock about 20+ different breeders.

Send back the packaging with bad seeds and we see what we can do...Depending on which breeder u purchased from, it could be ok or not ok.

We stand behind the products we sell, our own products and also equipment. Think good before u buy with a certain breeder and buy from a breeder who offers support on his product. Breeders who don't support their product dont deserve our customer service to keep their reputation up.

Thats my point of view on the matter.

Aliens you will always be #1 in my book. I was so parinoid to order seeds and my order(s) from you came without any problems. Im with you on the germination thing alien , so many factors come into play over seed germination. And it would be crazy of you to replace every order that didnt germ. It is good you are offerning to make amends with that person , thats really cool of you guys. Hell thats as much as a person can ask for is for you to send them the original breeders seeds that they ordered ;after that its a matter of luck and germ method. Well I am glad you took the time to stop by my thread once again.

I wish everyone luck in there search for good genetics.

Alien- Your analogy, of returning a defective tv is imo misguided. I would never deal with a retailer who wouldn't stand behind the product they sell and instead sent me back to the manufacturer (probably in Japan) to hassle over a defective tv. Same issue for me here, especially when my question to you was: "were the seeds old?". You chose not to respond to email question and instead responded with bad luck for me. I noticed they went out of stock when I made my purchase and was curious how old they were. When you chose not to respond to my specific question and had that terrible and weak response of bad luck, I perceived you to be evasive and that the seeds were probably around the shop for quite some time. Again, that would be my bad luck!!:wtf:

OnlineAlien
05-20-2007, 12:05 AM
the answer on your question would be if you took the time and effort to talk about the issue instead of expecting we say yes on your first email without having to put more effort in it. To be eliglble firstly, u have to keep the bad seeds and packaging. secondly sagarmatha seeds stands behind their product and so u would have received a new packet very likely.

Im guessing because we werent positive at first that u didnt put further effort in discussing the matter and just thought we wouldnt help u further.

My point with a tv-seller is that he is being SUPPORTED by the makers of the products he sells and is regulated by law. We support our equipment because our wholesalers support us when things go wrong...Seeds are a grey area and support depends solely on the breeder as they have no obligations.

We keep a very low stock and buy weekly what we need. U could have bought the last pack, but im sure the next weeks it was back online.

I agree, I had a problem with some damages seeds 5 days ago and Alien was very quick in response to my e-mail...offering a replacement pack of my choice between 4 varieties...so for 6 damages seeds i reviece 10 new ones...Alien is superior in their customer service in regards to all the experience i've had with them. I'd highly recommend going with ALIEN.

ive have spent over $500 with gsa. Getting ready to other again and will continue to buy from them. im always 110% happy with there service. i dont even look at other seed sites anymore and tell every body about them. by the way this isnt the first bad thing i have heard about Willy Nelson. i was going to get it but after reading everything i could find on it, decided not. as for NLX its great. sour jack doesnt like to be cloned as the clones dont do well. Budda X needs watered more then other stains, im sure its got to do with huge stems it from the start. Alien keep the great work.

Alien-Thanks for responding here with the better responses. I didn't know that there was recourse for me by returning packaging and ungermed seeds. You omitted that from your "bad luck" email,(although I mentioned I retained all!) which was enough to put me buying seeds elsewhere (luv free enterprise). Finally got my bubbleberry and they germed 100%. I'm really sad it turned out negative for me at Alien, but lucky that there are many other outlets to purchase seeds and have been lucky many times before the dead alien(sag) bubbleberry.

Also, Can't go without saying how silly you sound to me telling me I should have argued with you via email over the bum seeds? That is ridiculous. If you had treated me properly and in a business-like fashion, I would still be posting positively about Alien and buying my seeds there, as I had done many times previously.
