Where to buy carbon for filter

Where is a good place I can buy good quality carbon to put in my filter?

Save yer money, buy the crystal-type kitty litter at Cosco or somewhere like that. Works just as good and way cheaper to change

Toms right when things are tight ,
Fresh Step type cat litter - has to be b/s w/ crystals though , and it's only effective for about 4 mos. I got a guy I deal w/ offsite from ebay in Cali. that chgs. 1.00 a lb. for virgin - pelletized carbon too .

We found it at wally's boxmart Pretty cheap for a few lbs. Activated charcoal. In the pool or aquarium section. I would skip ebay, and find it locally. I did, and it saved me shipping
