1) when you buy seeds and they give a flowering time, as in 8-9 weeks, does this mean 8-9 weeks from turning the lights back or 8-9 weeks from when they start to show the white hairs.
2) also do plants finish a week early when useing CO2
3) one more thing, when useing doctor hornbys voodoo juice and pirannha does it cause like a layer of good algae or something like that what ias good for your roots.

From turning the lights back to 12-12. But to be precise of course you must still check trichs.
2) also do plants finish a week early when useing CO2I just recently got in a spat with another grower over this.... it's sort of yes and no... when you use CO2 you can (and should) increase temps by ~10 degrees F. With the increased temperatures, the plant's metabolism kicks up a bit and you cold potentially see a reduction in flower time. Simply adding CO2 does not make your plants flower faster. It allows you to increase the temps though, which you can NOT do without atmospheric enrichment.
3) one more thing, when useing doctor hornbys voodoo juice and pirannha does it cause like a layer of good algae or something like that what ias good for your roots.UMMMM I have never used that stuff... I'm not quite sure what you are getting at but are you actually talking about mycorrhizal fungi?
Because those little guys are the stuff that is good for your rooots... helps them more effectivelyt uptake nutrients. Products like myco-stim contain colony forming units of these fungi. Good stuff and very important if you are using a fully organic regimen that includes slow release soil amendments.
Um hope this helped

If you want something for your roots...get Liquid Karma,
or; An enzyme, like sensi-zyme or hygrozyme. h2o2 is great if you are using chem-ferts...but with voodoo "organic" juice ...you cannot.
I quit using all those expensive additives a long time ago The only way you can reap the benefits of spending all the extra money...Is to have a rigidly controlled laboratory grow. This means the exact temps humidity, co2, and all ther other bells and whistles.
If you are just a normal home grower, and want to achieve excellent results. learn to grow well, and have a benchmark grow recipe, that you can count on, before adding a bunch of other stuff. When I did this back in the day...The 1st grow following and all sequential grows were more potent...healthier, and allowed the op to run on autopilot.
You will find that after you succeed in becoming a successful grower, and want to stick with it. At times it gets a little tedious to be committed to a chore that you cannot "blow off". Finding and maintaining a simpler recipe and a consistent mix that consistently maintains proper ph is the key.
so. learn to grow, good KISS recipe. "3-part, calmag, Liquid Karma" or Superthrive"...which I have found, that when used in conjunction with Reverse Osmosis water...You always get a balanced ph of 5.7-6.0.
Put $$$ in good ventilation equipment, because if it is too hot and humiod, then you will have too much foliage (useless lower and intermediate growth), and not enough buddage (yield) after spending all that money and time, growing your little marijuana tree.
A rule of thumb is start with a 250- 400 watt lamp and grow 2-3 plants. the smaller set-up and ensuing grow will flourish, give you a benchmark, but without environmental problems one has to face when using 1000watts or UP!
Once you master this smaller set-up, and want to start enhancing your op...you may add ventilation fans, and bigger lights, co2...etc. Hope this helps. Peace

Nice advice, I am a 1st timer and also a cheapass. I am trying to keep it as simple as posssible and get decent results.
