250 watt HPS....

is a 250 watt hps enough for 4 plants and how long should i veg. until i switch to 12/12???????:rastasmoke:

Yeah... it will work for 4 plants... you should read the grow faq LOTS of good information. When to flower?? well, plants will double or more in size when you flower.. flower a plant at 6 inches it will finish at some where around 12-18 inches. Like i said the faq is full of good information. Good luck.

i grow with a 250, but I supplement it with another 100 watts of CFL power. I'm using this on a 2 plant scrog.

You will probably want more light. You might just want a 400, it's not that much more.

a 400w would be better, i use a 400w MH for veg and a 400w HPS for flowering.

Go check the results, im about to harvest.

If grown from seed a plant should be at least 6 weeks old before flowering.

250 is fine as said above but the higher the wattage the better the end product but at the trouble of more heat. If this is your 1st grow go with a 250 or a 400 and progress to higher wattage bulbs and grows as u gain more experience. :)

yea its my 1st gro....and its in a tiny closet so bigger wattage is kinda hard i have a setup for one hydro that i plan on using once plant is large enough to put in it then i planned on doing 2 or 3 in soil....
