I like to be alone when I smoke weed, and I dont smoke often, just every other weekend. (I have to protect my job)
When i smoke, I get into really deep thought, I like to write songs, and the lyrics seem to come to me so much more easily than when Im not high. My thinking is so much more clearer. Every thought that goes through my mind is disected to its very core. I understand things that I dont usually understand. Marijuana is the best gift that God has ever given us. It dawned on me the last time I was stoned that one reason that the governement might want to keep marijuana illegal is because it opens some of us up and enhances our psychic abilities, witch we all do have btw. Maybe the Government is scared that we will find out what their agenda really is, so to control us, they need to first control our minds. Just thought I would share these thoughts.

That's cool you smoke only every other weekend. I highly advise you to stick to this and not get into it every day. I know most people would disagree with me here, but there's a certain "magic" element to weed that was just the most beautiful thing I'd ever experienced, and it only existed when my tolerance was low. Keeping that magic is much more satisfying insightful than smoking every day and just feeling relaxed.

On your theory of illegalization reasons, I must respectfully disagree. I don't think a group of people who are against weed, who think of it as some inherently evil substance, would understand the insightful qualities it provides. I usually hear things from prohibitionists like "you just think you're insightful because your really stoned. In reality the thoughts are just retarded". But I do understand these thoughts, like most of us here do, and they allow you to start disecting the very nature of the little things, the stables of our lives that we just take for granted and never question.

Weed has definately given me a more inquisitive mind less ready to blindly accept what I'm told. I'm really glad you find the same help from it, and you should cherrish every moment you get with the sacred herb. Also keep in mind that any substance that provides insight, should provide that insight for regular sober life to be truly effective. Many people fall into the trap of limiting their insight to drugs and drugs only, and pretty soon the effect is spoiled and they forget how to apply it to their day-to-day lives.

You obviously have a very good idea of the productive use of weed though, so I'll just say good luck on your whatever your goals are with it.

BTW....

HAPPY 420 TO ALL!!! :) :) :):rastasmoke:  :hippy:

I totally feel you... I've cut back my smoking a lot, and whenever I do now I feel it, I enter another world, as opposed to just going all stony in this one. I prefer to smoke for some alone time and write a lot. I notice I can let thought just flow a lot easier, even though sometimes I have to go back to it sober and make transitions that just felt to obvious while I was high, but which nobody else would follow.

I agree with Dev about the government though. I'd like to think I'm a threat to them, but I'm not on any large scale sort of way. I don't have any psychic powers, though I admit it would be awesome if I did.

Don't let the occasional paranoia change the world you see. Once it does you've become what they want you to be... easily ignored. Change requires dedicated users who operate within this reality, because that's where we need the change.

Sorry, ranting.

Good post.
