about however many you can fit in a 10x10 space is the general rule.....which is many more at the beginning than at the end.

really just depends on your growing style but it should be somewhere between 4 larger plants or 80 just rooted clones in a sog your light should cover 20 sq feet or a 4 by 5 ft area.

fill half you room with plants then huddle them under the light as they get bigger move them apart,or use clones and do a sea of green you will get a bigger yeild that way:thumbsup:

This is true
I would actually not do much more than a 6x6 space with a 1000HPS in flower. 5x5 is very good for 1000w.
Flowering 25 plants in 1 gallon pots in this space is very efficient and yes, start them close together and then as they grow, move them apart and raise the light a little.
If you are using clones of all the same strain, this will give you a very nice even ca
nopy.

...under a 400 HPS light ...I didn't have room for 13 female plants once the flowering cycle started....so I rotated half every 12 hours...from light room to dark room for 60+ days...it's a lot of work...but doubles yield for one light....

...I'd do it again ...in a heartbeat....enjoy....:pimp:

Wow...I cannot grow more than 8-10 Max! under a 1000watt horti. And that is; Packed in; "pain in the ass tight"; Disease tempting...well you see where I am going with this...LOL

I would maybe attempt 6. If you are ready to get "involved..."REAL" involved. Any more than that...with your indoor grow experience level. Well...
(And don't take this personally. We are trying to help) I would say you were biting off more than you can chew. Peace and I hope this helps.

What a really really neat idea if you can be consistent!
btw nice reason for editing, lol.

I'm currently running only 8-10 plants under my 1000 BUT they go into flower on the large side (10" minimum, and there are also retired mothers in there) and it is most certainly not anything even resembling a SOG; I have to be in there rearranging plants as they grow.

as for the strain belladona,if its by paradise seeds its an absouloute dream to grow, takes abuse if has to and yields and smokes very well.i would highly recommend!good luck.not going to comment on the light situation the advice above really covers it.
