I got this new metal pipe from EDIT, but the hole in the bottom of bowl is pretty big. I haven't smoked with it yet (saving for 4/20) but it looks like the weed will fall through. Any ideas what I can do? I can't find anything around the house to use as a screen.

did you check in the faucet? Your faucet usually has 2-4 nice screens, just burn the crud off em before you smoke with em.

Well if I can get to the hardware store tomorrow, what type of screen should I buy? Brass?

I'll try that.

you can stick some steel wool or brillow down the hole but i wouldnt recomend doing this alot. like 4gj2nj0a said, smoking it once wont kill you.

For a ONCE in a blue moon thing here is what I would do (and used to do)
a piece of tinfoil with pinholes in it will work fine. Shame to put foil on a nice pipe tho.

or you could grab a small piece of a rolling paper, stuff that down the pipe before you pack it, and poke a small hole with a paper clip or w/e.
that's what works for me :)

just don't break the weed down as well at the bottom of the bowl, and pack it well. I haven't used a screen for a long time, but it doesn't always work perfectly.
