Yup
Come to Amherst Saturday... what end of the Berkshires? Adams/Pittsfield or the foothills?

What's up? I don't live near the Berkshires anymore, but I spent four, fondly remembered years at UMass. Are you from Amherst stinky?

Hmmm I've been known to lurk around Amherst on occasion and have my own fond memories of UMass. Nice place if you can stand the spoiled rich kids in daddy's BMW with Jersey plates and a cell phone krazy-glued to their ear.
We are lucky to have the world's best munchie food in town too... was the Hangar open when you went to UMass, or was it still Cutty's (you'll be dating yourself lol)?
im from the berkshires wher u form

close enough.
it's not my stomping grounds, but I go tubing just down from Zoar Gap.
Edit: I just noticed the original post is 'new to the Berkshires'... um... how in the fuck did you pick Rowe? I thought people moved OUT of that town!!! lol I was expecting like North Adams or at least a town that, oh, I dunno, has more than like 6 people living in it! :D Or are you hoping to acquire Super Powers from the nuke plant?

Oh dear. It was Cutty's.
As for the rich kids, are we thinking of the same UMass? At such a big public university, I thought there was a pretty consistent mix of every kind of person. I, for one, drove a Ford Taurus.
And the munchie food ... I hope Bueno e Sano is still around.

Eh, no worries, I remember it as Cutty's from growing up there... then as a vacant storefront... then FINALLY as the HAngar..
Yeah, same UMass, but it seems that it has become an outpost of New JErsey lately. Sure there's a mix, but the out of state rich kids flaunt so badly that they are who you really notice. You know, BMWs and those stupid enormous movie star sunglasses, and uggs OF COURSE....
Bueno is still alive and kicking. And there's a place up in Greenfield called Mesa Verde that operates on a similar thing, but with a liquor license, smaller menu, but almost ALL local ingredients. mmmmmmm..... gotta know all the munchie spots, right? :D
lol I drove a 89 Le Baron while I was there, then a 88 subaru GL 4wd hatchback...the ultimate wheelin' machine... I wish I still had it.

Imagine, a place like Bueno with a liquor license... How great that would be!
