Alright well lets start off saying that Im 18 and as a regular dude, i want to earn some cash for my personal expense. So i have 2 choices for a job, a petco store is about to have a grand opening and i was thinking of applying there, or my friend is offering me a job as a telemarketer, yeah those annoying people who call you in the morning asking you if you would like to re-finance your mortgage when you dont even own a house. But then again, you have hourly wages at petco and you have commission at the telemarketing, so if i make a deal then ill get paid like 10% of that (around 800-900 bucs) and its like from 5pm to 9pm.
So i wanted to ask if anyone of you had any experience with petco or telemarketing and how was it, that would be really helpful.

I have a friend who works at petco parttime. He recommends no one ever work there, they don't drug test tho :)
Telemarketing, if you are personable kind of you, I'm sure you'll do well. But if you the type of guy that doesn't like to interact with people, well you aren't going to be as successful at it.
Might as well give it a shot. If you don't like it, there's always other jobs out there.

well i worked at PETsMart as a night stocker (no, not stalker) for a few months. and it sucked. dog food is smelly and heavy. then i worked for a grand total of 2 weeks on the floor (the front of the store). it sucked. never work retail. other people (especially flaky cat lovers) suck majorly.

If you become a telemarketer... I'd just like to apologize ahead of time for not answering when you call.
