Black Light at Night

I heard from a friend that if you put on a black light during the night cycles you end up with buds that sparkle or something strange like that (was rather baked when he told me about it, so memory is a bit fuzzy).

I was wondering if anyone has tried/heard of this or something similar.

If not, I think I might try it just to see.
