This is the new 1/4, its my share on a 3/4 me and my buddies chipped in on....it is covered in orange hairs as you can see, but no strain name from my guy as usual...it smells like spicy, woodsy and a hint of skunk, pretty great smelling...its a pretty smooth smoke, and 4 hits off one bowl put me out pretty good, I think its an indica

not much, they don't have much THC, similar to stems. that bud may be premature, as the calyxes never formed, only the pistils (white hairs) looks like a branch harvested maybe a week or two before it shoula been. but if it smells like you say it does i imagine it will be oretty funky juast the same

That does look damn hairy, it probably was harvested a little early - but never the less it looks alright.

And smoking the pistilles wouldnt do much as the only THC on them is whats been rubbed off the trichomes.

The problem here is that your logic, though sound in general, is incorrect.

Hairy buds are usually pretty good, but not because of the hairs. If they are nice and hairy, but not too much, then the bud was grown well and there are other factors affecting how good it is.

Your assumption is that the hairs are what make the bud good - the hairs can be a sign of it being good, but the part that actually gets you the highest isn't the hairs.

Its a physical thing - the hairs just aren't that potent because of what they physically are and what their function on the plant is.

Trust me, there are so many growers on here that know everything about the physical attributes of plants and the various functions and qualities of the leaves, the pistils, the hairs, etc. etc. They know what they are talking about. (And they have educated me enough that I understand the basics of what part is good and what isn't.)

yeah you guys I am fine :D and me and my boys smoked 2 ceremonial bongs for our fallen homies, I was very close to having been in the action however, but I decided to skip my 10 o'clock class that would have been within feet of where the shooting went down, so it was pretty scary. Anyways, back to the herb, dude BlueberryWidow guy: on every one of my threads you say its 'chemical nippers' or something, dude I'm sorry it's not good enough for you, but its probably the best stuff around here, we dont got nobody growing WW, or NL here...and to everyone else yea this stuffs smell is changing everyday....its more of a citrusy/spicy smell now haha, but good stuff
