Ok, so every reliable source such as blogs, ebooks, and online info etc says that mylar or flat white paint are the best ways to line a grow area since mirrors ABSORB light. Also, says that tin foil may be used as long as dull side faces out. That said, mylar comes in rolls and isn't exactly cheap. Does anyone have any feedback about using camping survival blankets like these Dynarex Emergency And Survival Blanket Silver Foil Model #3537 - 84" X 52" RXZone.us (http://www.rxzone.us/product.cfm/rx/Dynarex-Emergency-And-Survival-Blanket-Silver-Foil-Model-3537-84-X-52-889352.html) as an alternative? They come in pretty big sheets, and depending on the brand are pretty shiny. That said, they're only about a buck!

There is a page of great links some place in this forum that goes over what's the best lining for walls.
Emergency blankets rank higher than tinfoil and mirrors, but lower than white walls and mylar. Key to getting the best results is making the blanket as flat as possible with no air between it and the walls, otherwise I believe you get more heat built up.
Of course I read this AFTER I bought my blanket. ;)
