I have a large collection of bag seed, and they vary alot by size, and color. does anybody have some good tips for selecting the best ones to plant?

nice and brown with darker bits on them nice and fat big or small:thumbsup:

lol everything is a contradiction! okay, so by darker bits, do you mean specks? i have a few seeds with specs.

i read once that you can tell if its male or female by examining the but of hte seed, but im not sure.

im wondering if i cann figure out which would be a good indoor plant by looking at the seeds. they all look very different.

i also have a bunch of bagseed that im germing. I look for the fattest/biggest seed with tiger stripes.

as long as the seeds are not green or white and have not been crushed they will germ just fine unless there very old ie many many years and evan then some could still germ or if they have been cracked awhile and just sitting around
