well, i did it...as my friends know, i am on atkins, and after a certain weight goal i was going to have this done....and i did...hahahaha....

it wasnt too bad, uncomfortable but not horrid...after hurt more when they put on the mask, and the whole wiping of my face..it is like a raw feeling, and now that a few hours have passed, it feels like a mild sunburn..though water hitting my face is a tad uncomfortable altogether...

i could tell a difference right away, and so could my husband..it is a refreshed look i guess, and incredibly even skintone....only 5 more sessions left....

oh, and i treated myself..i waxed my monkey arms...how strange that feels....

Some men get microderms too!

Not really angry, kind of laughing actually!

Surrey, if it hurt that bad they should turn down the suction next time.

Floyd, it is a machine that shoots ultrafine aluminum crystals out of a wand that is placed on the skin while sucking them back up. It exfolliates the skin, almost like sandblasting but not.

no, the procedure itself didnt hurt too bad....hours later it did.....last night and today, i feel like my face was rubbed off....

and the one i had done uses diamond crystal for a finer exfoliation....i would never use one with aluminum...yikes....

you dont say? ;) lol....

it is better today....i learned very very quickly how important aftercare instructions are...i went for a walk without sunscreen and in about 8 minutes my face was on fire, and when i got to the store in 20 minutes, i couldnt stand it and had to buy sunscreen..i was already burnt, and it wasnt that sunny......

teaches me to not listen and know it all....lol

anyway, i cant believe the results..it looks like i have makeup on all the time...i cant wait to see what it is like after the other 5 sessions... :D

Did you're face look as raw as it felt? How much does something like that cost?

not really...i was surprised it was just a little pink....a nice healthy looking colour....

it costs different everywhere...i pay 75 a session for my face, 50 for my neck, and 35 for my hands..times that by 6 for it to be completed, and then you only go every other month to maintain...it is worth it though...it made me quit smoking cigs...i went on the patch because i am not going to keep doing the things that are ruining my skin after putting out so much money to fix it...the results are amazing, at least in my case..it looks like i have makeup on all the time...i am glad i did it and made the commitment....
