ok, so i soaked my 10 seeds for 24hrs and put em in the jiffy 7 pellets, instead of going w/ my usual seed germination soil which was working pretty well, my question is none of the seeds have popped after 3-4 days, can i pull em out of the pellets and put em into starting soil? Or is it too late

Whats the difference between a jiffy pellet and a "Makenzie Peat pellet"
I live in canada The pellet I have is peat based is that the same as a JIffy pellet?
I grabbed some of those thinking it would be better than current method of rockwell Or striaght into the soil.

Those pellets are best saved for rooting clones. Start your seeds in soil if they'll be growing in it anyway and save yourself and the plants a step or two.

I never soak 1st. The idea of the pellet is too soak the seed with the moisture held by the pellet.
Usually when using jiffy's...They show sprouts in a couple days, but It can takes a couple of weeks, depending on age and degree of dormancy
I have never had failure unless It was my fault for not watering jiffy pellets. I think they are the biggest no brainer in the growing industry. You might have had them to wet. If you follow directions...They work every time. Peace and sorry for your loss.

well, i pet em in the soil and they are adjusting fine, if i were you and had em in there for 6 days i'd take em out and put em in some soil, u can get some small seed starting pots that will fit in the dome used for the jiffy pellets. The last few months i've used seed starting soil and put em in the lil dome and they sprouted great...i'm sorry i ever tried those stupid pellets
