Help with my joints

Why do my joints not stay lit?

they may be rolled too tight/ unevenly?? there was a rolling tutorial round here somewhere, but i havent been around in a while so i dunno if its still there

Try explaining the process you go through to make the joint. (how are you breaking it up, what size and kind of paper are you using, what style are you rolling it in, how are you lighting it?)

If you could explain how you do those sorts of processes to reach the end product I would maybe be able to help a little, but the real help is going to be a lot of practice.

I have JOB papers single wide. What I do is break up the bud with my fingers, and I pick out the stems. Then I put it in the paper and spread it, I then roll it until its sturdy and I lick the part you lick. Then I put it in my mouth put the lighter on the J and inhale a bit, then it turns off. Or the paper will burn then it will turn off and the bud's holding itself and there's burnt paper around it.

One thing you might want to try is break it up with scissors or a grinder. I have a feeling that you are not breaking the weed up enough, so air is not getting through your joint and it won't stay lit. It may be trying to keep large chunks lit which is a lot harder then if it is grounded up nice and fine.

Also you can watch how the people roll on Everyonedoesit.com in their video section at the bottom. If you click in their video section and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page you can click on the things that look like video tapes. I roll my joints like they do their two spliff videos but without tobacco and pure weed.

Hmm.. Could be various causes. When I was a n00b at rolling, I found that they wouldn't stay lit when I rolled them too loosely. Try to keep the paper thickness even (roll a wide joint or cut off any excess paper so the paper overlaps slightly), might want to try the pencil technique if you don't mind taking the easy way out.

The two most likely causes are either it's rolled too tight or you've got some weed that's too damp. - Dont buy wet weed if this is the case - coz you'll get ripped off everytime.

i thought maybe you were rolling to tight, i did that when i first started. but when you said the paper would burn around the weed and not the weed it sounds more like you are rolling to loose.

I can do the same with a backwards roll and only have one layer - more green less paper.

The question is - do you use a roach [rolled up card mouth peice to keep the end open and improve hits?]

I can't stand them. Unfortunatly here in the states, we have what I would categorize as the mcdonalds production pot. It is wieght/quantityl over quality 90% of the time.

Wicked big problem here. I started buying in a different way. When you stick some one with an Oz of moist pot, they tend to get better product next time for you.

Or, for the better, they outright refuse to deal with you. Thats fine with me, id rather save my money than buy moist pot.

Consider most of my rant something of the past. I really did quit like over a month ago. :(

Either its the weed,you rolled to tight, or you rolled too loose.This is by far the easiest way I know how to roll.#1 grind your weed up #2 place in whatever you roll up with #3 make two even piles out of your green #4 roll back and forth to make a clyindrical shape with the mix

I used to use tobacco in them when i was smoking ciggies - but i quit last year so now i roll pure - i find pure burns even slower than with tobacco [for me] which is just a plus. Theres a few people on the boards that can get theres to burn for 45 minutes.

I get alot of people automatically saying bullshit and that they dont belive me - which pisses me off tbh - i think to myself just because they cant do it doesnt mean others cant - theres things i cant do but i dont say its impossible. I supose that's just a good way of telling the arrogant wankers from the normal people.

Good good. I'm glad im not the only person to be able to get em to burn properly. How many pics of joints have i posted though? Only 2 or 3 at the most. If it was for entering a competition i'd be alot more precise about it - but if it's just a normal everyday joint it dont matter too much.

80 cm joint.

3 mil gone per toke.

3 tokes/min (one every 20 seconds).
