Hello,
I have been living in Enfield for about a year now. Moved from VT, a big difference. :)

I am a disabled, single father of 2 and enjoy meeting new people and love photography and RC helicopters.

I always posted in the Marihemp Market Place forum been a member there since 2002. I got bored and did some looking found this forum about CT, great idea.

Looking forward to meeting/talking with some CT peeps!

Take it easy :hippy:

What's up broncoholic? I'm right across the river in Suffield. What part of Enfield you in, Thompsonville, Hazardville, Green Manor? I grew up in Enfield and have lived locally my whole life. Hope all is well.
This site is great, I've been a member here for quite a while and every body is great.

Hey Redeyed!
Thanks for the welcome! The site does look like it has a lot to offer. I have been reading all kinds of posts and looking at the photos. I really like the state by state forum, a great idea and way to meet people in your state. I have not met many people in CT so I thought this would be a good way to do so. It seems we have a couple things in common. We both have 2 kids and used to be an iron worker.

I live in the Thompsonville area of Enfield. I live near the pond and rec center. It is not the greatest place but anything was better than VT. :) I looked in Suffield for place, but the rents in that area is a little out of my budget range. ;) I like CT much better than VT.

Thanks again for the welcome and maybe we can hook up someday.

I like your signature, very true!

No shit. I got a buddy that lives down that way. Use to be an ironworker huh, in ct or vt, openshop or union? Not that it matters to me, we all got to eat, it's up to you how you choose to do it.

It was in TX and in CT when I first came to New England, plus a few other states. LOL. It was actually my very first real type of work. I awlays tried to get in the union but at the time I did not know how, and unable to find any union work. I was just trying to survive and was young and dumb. LOL I always felt that if I were able to get into the union, I might have stayed into a lot longer than I did. But ended up driving Tractor-Trailer.

Now, I am permanantly disabled from getting hit as I was walking by a motorcyclist going over 75+ MPH. I was in the hospital or over a year.I was never supposed to survive or walk again, but I did survive and I am walking, not very well but I am!

Good talking with you again!

I have so much metal in me I set off metal detectors. :p

This happened in 93 so I am doing OK now, just a lot of pain.

I was down there but so were a few others. You cannot miss me. :D I usually have something with Broncos on it.
You should have stopped, but it would have been emabarrassing if you picked the wrong person. :D

I am right down on the road on Church.

No 420 celebration for me, do not know anyone to help me enjoy it. But any day I spend with my kids is good enough for me.

If you see a big gray Dodge Ram with a Broncos sticker and a decal of Hobbes running from a helicopter on the back window and VT plates thats me.

No worries, I understand! I would be the same way if I was from the area. But no one knows me and I never have anything with me anyways. ;)

Hope to see you around!
