ok, so norml's site has me a bit confused. i'll be starting a small (maybe 4-5plant) indoor grow op. just for myself, i'll never sell, and i'll never tell anyone about it.
anyway, what i'm confused about is:
. if i have more than 1oz in bud or in plant matter, or even less, what is the standard penalty? because norml says
Colorado - NORML (http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?wtm_view=&Group_ID=4526)
under "sale and cultivaton"
there is a section for "less than an ounce WITHOUT payment" then there is "any amount WITH PAYMENT". i don't get how they are lumping together these two
if i were to get busted (god forbid) with a few plants (never been arrested, no priors), what would happen? i realize it depends on the cop, they could write me up for the $100 traffic ticket, and say "don't do this again", but i'm doubting that
i imagine i'm not looking at jail time? would it be a misdemeanor or a felony? i'd get parole? and there was something mentioned on norml that at the end of porole the slate could be whiped clean?
i just want to know what i'm getting into; luckily colorado seems the best state in the country to grow, at least one of the best
the vibe i'm getting leans heavily on the "conditional" thing. i'm thinking that because it would be a first offense, i'd get of light. i just don't know
.......ok, no more bad mojo :)
