ive lost my interest in smoking

now that i have a volcano i just cant get into smoking anymore. i hate the smoke nuking my lungs and i dont like the smoke saturating in everything i wear.
i just love vaping fuck man its the best.
all my friends love it too i honestly think if good vapes were more affordable smoking would slowly decrease in popularity

how long have you been vaping?.........i thought the same thing for a while after i got my vape, but noticed i would get a different high from without a vape. smoking and smoking out of a vape.......in the end, i have to have my reg smoke.

Smoke should be smooth - it shouldnt make you cough uncontrolably, and shouldnt irretate your throat and/or lungs.

I can understand it be slightly harsher after vaping - but it shouldnt be as bad as your describing it.

im sure volcanoes are boss, but in the end nothing and i mean NOTHING compares to a nicley rolled dutch. Not a roor, no phyre not all the gravity bongs in the world. plus it only costs a buck. I would probably choose 500 dutches over a volcano (provided they never go stale hehe).

I think vapes are great for health concerns - but not if you dont need need one - only because a good one costs stupid amounts of money - and whatever people say they aint a socialable way to smoke.

But it's the same for bongs on the money side of things - they just shouldnt cost that damn much.

but i just dont think i could ever give up smoking the herb. I just love smoking a joint to relax after a hard day and i don't think i'd get quite the same effect from a vapouriser...

Really, I don't see how any smoking method would be more sociable than another. If you got friends, and a vape, and they all like to vape, then the social aspect of it is no different. People can be anti-social by smoking out of pipes, bongs, bubblers, joints, or blunts too... it all depends on the situation and the person.

I've never used a vape before, but I really want to get one. I don't think I'd use it to smoke bud, because I love smoking joints, and bowls, but, I'd use it for my kief. I have a space case grinder, and I go through a half ounce every three days, so I collect alot, but whenever I press it into hash, it always burns to slow, and when I leave it as is, I cough uncontrollably, once I exhale.

Like, I inhale the kief, and can hold it for however long I want, but as soon as I start to exhale, I just keep coughing. I don't like eating cannabis, as I'm an impatient person, so I think a vaporizer would be perfect for kief and hash, what do you guys think?

nahh they are nasty. they have glycerine in them, serious chemical. i smoked one of those and afterwards i felt like my mouth had a coat of plastic around it... not very nice at all.

Volcano is better than smoking, and if you don't agree with that then either you haven't tried one, or you didn't use it right. End of story. And if you have tried other vaporizers and were dissapointed, they're not comparible to the Volcano and the difference is night and day. More THC extraction by far. Theres a reason they're all over amsterdam. It might get repetitive after a while but it is still a more efficient way of consuming herb. I know I wont convince stubborn glass people because a year ago you couldn't of convinced me. I have around 3000 worth of amazing headies, roors, and various small pipes, but my volcano is always on. i never used a vaporizer, but i think it should be far better than smoking. i like to keep my lungs as healty as possible, and dont like to have the smokers cough (and phlegm). thats why i smoke only hash oil. why to damage the body just cause is "nicer" to smoke a joint, blunt, w/e?

My best friend owns a volcano and i can say i am there 3 times a days cause its a 30 sec. drive and poeple were saying that it was not social....yea right what we call them are vape dates and about 2-3 new people come over and they can only get through about 3-4 bags before they have to stop from being so fucked up lol....but vape is the only way to go and if you dont agree then either you have never used one or you are doing something wrong

I'd like to get volcano, it's an excellent method for herb consumption, however I don't see it ever replacing smoking for me. I enjoy the ritualistic aspects that go along with preparing the weed, rolling the joint, etc. I also enjoy the smoke's tangible essence, the way it tastes and feels billowing down my throat. Even watching the plume of smoke that escapes on exhale is part of the experience. Enjoying cannabis is a very personal and highly subjective activity. Everyone is going to enjoy it in different ways for different reasons. I don't think any one way is better than any other, I just know what I enjoy.

To me smoking the herb is all part of the process that I enjoy. Nothin like relaxin with a nice joint after work, on the back porch. I don't think I'd enjoy vaping really...I like inhaling weed :D

I need a lil help tho on the temp... is it 5.5 or is it 6.5 to set it at? and how many times do you resuse the herb inside the bowl to fill up the ballon... I have a set rule of 3 times... like 2 twice then I grind it up one more time and vape it one more time or is this to much?

i have never had a problem smelling like smoke. people have known cause ive looked high as hell before. al this talk about saturating clothes the only time i smell like weed is if hotbox a car and smoke a lot in doing so and the only time it lingers for a long period of time is if i do that with a blunt. cigs on the other hand you smoke one you smell like shit all day

is there really a difference at using the temp at 5.5 and 6.5 though? I mean at 5.5 thats the temp the thc gets released anyways so why would 6.5 be any better? Also is 6.5 just as healthy as having it at 5.5 or does not make a real big difference? I just decided to keep it at 6

Lazy,

I run mine at 7. I like the vapor a little heavy. 6.5 is the standard. I grind my plant once in the supplied grinder, and then just run bags till the vapor gets light, like 3 bags. I then take a chopstick and stir the plant material in the cylinder, you'll notice that the stuff on the outside doesn't seem to get the same amount of heat as the stuff on the inside, so mix it up.

Run one or two more bags, then grind again. I then get usually one or two more but then it's finished, kaput.

It's taken me months to get to this point of understanding of the way to maximize usage of the Volcano. I use it pretty much daily and it rocks. It's nice not to stink, not to cough, etc.

youguys why not go to 8or9 or even 10?? the higher you go the more thc you willextract. staying at the same temp is not good. start at 5.5 and fill 3-4 bags till you reach around 9.

I start on 7 and sometimes 6.5 if its in the morning. then increase by .5 each bag finishing around 8.5 -9.5 depending on the size of the pack. Throw in some DJ shorts blueberry and a nice kief topping of Flo to get the day started with a motivational kick. Perfect breakfast session. Peace

I smoke primarily joints, and the occasional blunt. If I had an volcano, I'd probably smoke 75% vap and 25% blunt / joint...I just love smoking weed. I had a vap before (just an average quality one) and even though I got real high off of it, I still had to smoke occasionally. In fact, I'm rolling a blunt now.

I'm just jealous :D If I can ever afford a volcano without having to sacrifice other things in life I enjoy, I will get one, but as it stands right now it's too expensive.
