ok im starting to grow myself and i have no clue what im doing. im doing my homework tho and i was just hoping someone could help me get everything started. like one of my seeds is spouting what do i need to do?? i got 10 in a wet paper towel in an empty dresser drawer... plz help! will be VERY much appreitiated ...(however you spell that lol) thanx!:D

i have a florescent light but i have no clue i was hoping to figure out what all i needed so i can go shopping for it all tomorrow
what light is best?i read that florescent 40watt is good for seedlings then when older an HID/HPS w/fan. ????

not very experienced in indoor growing, only outdoor, but look it up on google there are many many many good sites on indoor growing

i would say u go to wally-world and pick up some more cfl's if thats what u already have mabey 5-6 45 watt (150 replacement) those get kinda expensive about 6-8 bucks for one or you could go with 6-8, 27-30 watt (100 watt replacement) those are cheaper and come in packs usally.There is a light spectrum that ur plants would like to enjoy if u help them with it. it is 6500k-2400k it tells you on the light pack. 6500k is for vegging,leaves,stems,nodes. as for 2400k that end of the spectrum is for flowering and root production. i dnt knw what ur setup is but u might want to go to home depot and get some light fixtures to hold all of the light bulbs and ask somebody how to wire them all together. as for ur growing medium. i would use 6ix in. pots in the seedling stage until they get about 8-10 in.then transplant them into whatever size container fits ur fancy.as for the soil jus make sure it drains well and at the same time it retains water well. i will add other input with more of ur Q's. good luck!!!!
