This bowl is amazing! The guy at the head shop called the golden spirals dichronium. I had never seen this type of dichro glass till the other day and had to buy it. I noticed a very small stress facture and got it for 45 instead of 60 which was a hell of a deal. I have tried looking online for dichro glass and barely found any. What do you think?

i dont mean to bag on ya...but that's a hella lot of $$$ for a small bowl. The design looks real cool but its not worth it...iono, prove me wrong.
is there something special about the materiaL?

Nice pipe. I'd say $45 was fairly reasonable. Dichroic glass is always more expensive. With these you start paying more for the artistry itself than just the size of the pipe. I got a dichroic bubbler a while back for $100 that sat right next to a bubbler with an almost identical shape and size for $65. The big difference being the complexity of the design and the dichroic glass. Just depends on what you want and can afford.

Nice colors and stuff, but I don't care much for the stem piece. It's way to fat and isn't porportioned with the bowl.

I'm purticular when it comes to glass spoons. :)

I just bought a new spoon last weekend for $50. It's a nice piece and some would say it is too much, but my pipe, and I bet yours too, is a one of a kind piece. Those $10 glass spoon are cheap glass and mass produced glass using a template. They are cheap for a reason, but mine was made by hand, with a high quality, hard to break glass. It is worth every penny. Not just the the strength, but the colors are much more vivid as well. Cheaper pipes have dull colors.

Like I said, I'm particular about my glass. I only use the cheap one when I'm out in public. If I break it or lose it, who cares, it's $10. :p

you get what you pay for. if you wanna spend more cash on a primo piece, more power to you. and to all the cheap skates that just want somthign to smoke from, dont rag on the people that appreciate good art when they see it.

This bowl seemed a bit pricey untill I saw the pic up close. The design is awesome and I have never even seen the little metalic flakes in the glass. Overall pretty nice. It is also probably gonna be easy to clean too becuase my $10 bowl never gets clean no matter how much I scrub, boil, and soak, but my more expensive glass looks like new after some hot tap water.
