Anyone else into him? I've read about half his shit so far, and I have to say it's very enjoyable, especially after a fat bowl.

Plus, a lot of evidence points to the fact that he was a stoner.

Shakespeare was a cool dude. And he's a heck of a lot better when teachers and professors aren't forcing you to read his work, if you ask me. Then you can sit back and enjoy the fact that he was bawdy as heck and an amazing poet.

There does seem to be evidence that The Bard might have been into psychotropics of different kinds, which was true of lots of people who lived during his time, artists, writers and regular people alike. Folks, as you discuss this, try and keep the dicussions here limited to cannabis, OK?

The Tempest is his best play for after a bowl. Caliban's monologue about his island home in particular has imagery which just really penetrates the baked mind.

The tempest is fuckin' great. I didn't think anyone else would find it interesting high, but alas!

I think Byron is the best poet for post-bowl activities, mainly because of his stellar imagery:thumbsup:

Yeah, now if any fictional character could ever do with a bowl, it'd be Lady Macbeth.

Totally. You nailed it with the Tempest man... I'm also a fan of Midsummer's Night Dream. Hamlet has some great lines but it just moves so slowly...

I played Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. I performed it high on 2 nights, actually.

I haven't read much Shakespeare...hell I haven't read much of anything, but if there's one author I can really get into it's Edgar Allan Poe. He is the epitome of literary genius.
